Zangeki Regileiv

QUOTE
US, November 16, 2009 - Coming from the developer behind Earth Defense Force, Zangeki Reginleiv already had our attention. Well now we've targeted it as a definite play, thanks to today's revelation that it will be Wii Motion Plus compliant!

A retail listing reveals Motion Plus support for the game, allowing you to directly slash away at your foes. But don't worry traditionalists! The game will also include Classic Controller support, which means buttons for those who prefer it.

Originally announced last year as Dynamic Slash, Zangeki Reginleiv (don't worry, we don't know how to pronounce it either) is a tie-up project between Nintendo and EDF developer Sandlot. The game promises large scale battles against enemy forces, and so much violence that it's been given Nintendo Japan's first D rating (that means 17-and-up).

Other known features include two selectable characters with unique attacks and weapons, a selection of over 300 weapons, and online cooperative play for up to four. Nintendo will be footing the bill for the online play.

So far, everything we know about Zangeki Reginleiv is through retail leaks, as Nintendo hasn't given the game a formal announcement. A Japanese release is set for February 11, well after the year end sales rush, but let's hope Nintendo is festive enough to share official screens and details with us some time this year.

This game is looking great though it has little western appeal at least visually, I recall the big N making modifications to Perfect Darks Jo character model for Japan, maybe they'll do that for a western release.
Also to note is in Japan it came in a black box, same as Madworld and Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles.
S-Stop! Thief!
ugh, stylish games like this just make me wish the Wii was prettier in the graphics department.
