Who's Toxitron? He's one of unreleased figures shown at Botcon by Hasbro, originally a remold of the G2 Laser Prime. Here I've gone and created his Transformers Animated counterpart using a TFA Wreck-Gar. The prime-ish head came from a Koto-Takara PVC bust of Prime, his alternate Hazmat head came from a DC Direct Armory Batman helmet. I wanted to be able to swap between an original look at the Laser Prime version with the heads and gave him a Toxitron label, as well as the pea-soup n' purple paint job. You can pop off the dumpster-posts and I added a toxo-blaster made from a GI Joe RoC weapon, as well as the buzzsaw from an Astro Boy Buzzsaw Samurai robot. Toxitron may never see the light of day on the shelves but you can see him here in TFA form!

Just a few thoughts though,

1. I'm kinda sad none of the "ooze" paint apps carried over from the proto. That was my favorite part, seeing stuff leaking out of almost every corner. Yours looks a little too "neat" IMO.

2. The Decepticon sticker on the front. It looks kinda bad head-on since the top of the cab is rounded. Don't really know what to suggest to make it better though.

I like it my only complaint is the his head seems to rounded and for lack of better words happy.
I think his head needs some more angular points to it to drive home the evil half melted bastard that is toxitron

Awesome figure choice (I always thought Wreck-Gar would make for a great Toxitron) and great job with the head.

I do have a criticism about the color choice though. It's too much like a Constructicon. It's too green. The green on Toxitron was much more of a yellow green and very distinct from the Decepticon combiners. Think more along the lines of the green used for some Hazmat vehicles/clothing. It's not much of a criticism, but it is enough to throw your custom off for me. Especially in vehicle mode.

Other than that, great job!

That is ridiculously cool. Digibashes have been made, people have mentioned how well it would work with the garbage truck. But right now that it stares you in the face it's just fantastic.

Hey thanks guys! The pea-soup color is dead on to the proto shown online, my camera just makes it look way too green, probably because of the dark background. I'll take a pic of it against my gray factory background and see if that helps.

Interesting (though I never would have known about Toxitron without TFWiki, ah well), and well done. Although, thanks to NightViper's comment I'm seeing this with a different head ending up as TFA Longhaul. Ah well.

Looks really good! I love the themed weapons and alternate head. The best thing is that the ducts go back to his bin, as if he actually *has* to breathe nasty stuff to survive.

That's awesome. I think I like the alternate head better than the Prime one.

Fantastic work, but as others have said, it needs orange "ooze" coming out everywhere.

Too bad there's not a way to merge the two heads, to make the haz-mat mask into one that goes over the Prime-like head. Not really feasible, though.

But still, excellent.
