So what to do when I'm broke as hell and bored to boot? Well why not get back to my ML customs I used to do? Except this time really do that one team I've been waiting for.

So yeah, got hooked up with an ML Nova and reapinted him so he doesn't suck. As in give him the proper paint apps and make it a decent gold, not a dark mustard.
Speedball is an old custom that I did years ago. The others are the few I just started. Night Thrasher and Firstar. And yes, leather jacket Firestar because I loved that outfit.
Scarlet Spider was start on a whim last night.
Now I gotta find the Marvel Boy I started forever ago and get him in on the action.

Awesome. I used to love the Warriors when Nicieza and Bagley were in charge.

And of course, Nova was always (from his first series on) and remains one of my favorites still to this day.

This day you have earned yourself a friend for life.
Nicieza has pretty much lost his touch over the yeras but Bagley.. oh man. He influnced a great deal of my art back when I used to draw all the time. (Put the pencil down for half a decade and you just lose it.) To this day he is my favorite penciler.

That Speedball looks outstanding! It looks like you even got the detailing on the orange parts. Could you post some more pics of him?

Night Thrasher seems to be shaping up pretty nicely too! Any plans for Namorita or Rage?

I'm gonna crank out all the main peeps but not Sil. I hate Sil. She's stupid. Though I may even do Chord.

As for Speedball...

And my old Nova custom that has now been put to rest...

icon-fire.gif Agreed. Nicieza's work lately hasn't really struck my fancy (primarily because he hasn't done any work on characters I especially care about), but Bagley is always a draw. I actually followed him to Spider-Man once he left the Warriors, but didn't stay long. I've considered picking up JLA based solely on his involvement, but remain undecided at this point.
