The only thing I would actually go out and hunt on Black Friday for, TF-wise, would be some kind of exclusive, like yellow RiD Landfill from 2003. But they haven't done anything like that for years, so no dice.

I know their deluxes are on sale right now, I sure hope that's not just a stupid name for standard deluxe Transformers.

Watch Woot.com, they have netbook deals pretty often. I got an EEE900 for $150 earlier this year (refurb, though).

The local Target has been choking on Rampage and Sideways for months now, sigh. Maybe the sale will clear some of those out.

There is very little current TF product I even need, much less desire enough to leave the house tomorrow.

7.99 is a good price.

I'm trying to nail the timeframe down of when I stopped buying toys, and I while the quality control of Animated had a lot to do with it, I think the real line was crossed when deluxes went to 12.99 at Wal-Mart.

Those were typically my impulse buys because psychologically I could always justify "Under 10 bucks" but when that became "Almost 15 bucks" in my mind, I just couldn't toss it in the cart anymore.

No Targets around here. I did get both of the Walmart Scout 2-packs, and a Voyager Demolishor from Kmart.

Oh yeah, I saw Grindor for the first time at K-Mart.

ShopKo had Fast Action Battlers for $7.99 today (I think only 'till 11a, though)...got a couple from them, but Walmart was more my place to be, anyway--besides the Universe 2-packs, I found a Power Armor Optimus Prime and Cyber Pursuit Arcee on the pegs (no sign of the new Sideswipe, though).

(They also had a couple Gravity Bots Barricades, but the cards were too beat up for my preferences.

I did see Stalker Scorponok for the first time today, at Kmart. Didn't get it, since Walmart's deluxes are cheaper.


I also went to Freds, where I saw the Cybertron Scouts(Brushguard, The Rhino guy, etc.) in the new Universe 2008 packaging. But they wanted $10 each, which is alot for a scout that has been reelase 3 times already.
