That's right folks, The Allspark is 10 years old today!!!

On this fateful day of November the 11th 1999, two illustrious people, Optimus87 and SH0CKWAVE, decided to create this little piece of the Internet we still call home today. Back then, we only had 3 subforums:

"Beast Machines Discussion", 'cause that was the show going on back then,

"General Discussion", for talking about stuff not related to Beast Machines,

And a weird little place called... "Beast Mayhem".

That's right, Beast Mayhem is also 10 years old today.

I joined on the very first day too. Waaaaaaaaaaaay back in 11-11-99, I was one of the first wave of members migrating over from Bottalk and elected this place as my own, and I still remember the very first post I did:

"Mmm. Looks like I'm going to enjoy this place.

Defcon out."

(Because back then I was known as "Defcon001"... but that's beside the point)

I also participated in the very first Beast Mayhem Thread... It was called "Food Fight". I remember twirling 2 giant trouts around me like some giant Fish-Chucks and yelling "WHO WANTS SOME OF THIS!?!??"

So yeah, I did enjoy the place. And I'm still here after 10 years. But enough about me, this is about the Allspark, and about Beast Mayhem. So in its honor I have hunted my old old OLD avatar from the hard drive of one of my old computers (Wasn't even sure I still HAD that one!), did this little compilation of Avatars I used in the past 10 years around here (Couldn't fit them all of course, but I think I picked the most significant ones) in hoping it'll help me reminisce about the past 10 years, also hoping it will let other old timers think back fondly on the past 10 years, and hoping for all of us to look forward to at least 10 more years of Fun n' Games here at the AllSpark.

I wasn't here right away after the Allspark started, but I was here pretty early on.

I lurked for a little bit and then I found Beast Mayhem. It was my kind of place. To me Beast Mayhem was for all those people that got in trouble over at Bottalk for goofy nonsense threads. For some reason it's deemed weird to have a thread where you're playing Volleyball... For some reason it's off topic or just pointless to some mods... not Allspark mods or definitely not a Beast Mayhem mod, but those mods we had to get away from.

I wish I remembered who pointed me to the Allspark... it was someone over at Bottalk. I hadn't been there long before I found this place. I had missed all the excitement that gave birth to the Allspark, but in the long run... I'm glad it did. Happy Birthday Allspark!!! HAPPY SMEGGIN' BIRTHDAY BEAST MAYHEM!!!! MAY THE TANG FLOW FREELY AND ALL HAIL THE GODDESS!!!! ALL HAIL THE NURIKO WORLD ORDER!!!! You can't remember the old days without remembering that. Oh how I miss the Drunken Squirrel.
