This time around, we got Stratosphere, a military cargo transport plane. In order to demonstrate his scale, we got an Optimus Prime figure that's roughly micromaster-sized.


If we go by alt modes, then one of the biggest G1-era TFs would have to be Broadside, as one of his modes is an aircraft carrier.

Given all the aircraft and the two scout-classed submarines, would it one day be plausible to do a Broadside figure for the movie line?

He'd obviously be restricted to just his aircraft carrier alt mode, with the possible story that S7 is using him as a mobile fortress. For the sake of scale, he could come with a series of 1980s Micro Machine-sized (the rough size of a knuckle on your fingers) vehicles: two Ospreys (one done like Springer, the other done like Incinerator), two Pave Lows (one done like Whirl, and the other done like Grindor), and two fighter jets (Breakaway and the Thrust redeco).

Thing is, would it work?

Yeah, he's too cool a design/individual to be confined to Energon. Heck, I wouldn't object to seeing his Energon toy again for Classics/Universe, or to support the Movie line as a store exclusive, if Classics does indeed end up being deluxe-only this next time.

Anyhow, make an awesome new mold ultra or leader sized aircraft carrier, and give him a different head scuplt for the redeco. Broadside and Tidal Wave both delivered, and awesomeness abounds. Everyone cheers.

Evac also started in the UT, but now he's got/getting 2 movieverse toys.

I'm surprised we've not seen a new Tidal Wave yet. Even if it was Sonar repainted. Tidal Wave was much more of a Standout character from the UT then Evac was.

I vote we get a Supreme Tidal Wave for the next movie. You know Bay's wanted to do an aircraft carrier, and that's the only thing I could think of that would top Devvy in the "HOLY CRAP IT'S HUGE" factor. Well, other than draging in Unicron or something...
