Context? Who needs context?

Blurry Robot Special 7.1

To be honest I'd just keep the first three panels. The last two detract the humour in the beat over the head sense that isn't really necessary. (unless I'm missing something) First three however got a smirk.

TM:

Very good point. Lack of context is a bit problematic. The last panel is mostly there to separate this non-event from the storyline - that's some of the "production team" that supposedly makes the ongoing comic. The second-to-last exists to tie it to previous storyline, and also because CSI:Miami was stuck in my head. Covering those does make it weirder, which is probably better. icon-hotrod.gif

What actually happened is that somebody on TFW proposed that the current arc would end this way, and I decided to knock off this quick comic to illustrate it, and then wondered how it would work outside of any context.

I have to agree on the redundancy of the latter panels. I really have no clue what the fourth panel is supposed to represent... even just removing that one works, I think. Scream reads. Scream ponders. Scream gets splattered. "No."

Another good suggestion, but if I took out panel 4, I'd lose the Sunglasses of Justice...and plus, I had just figured out that Lego people could hold on to Prime's trailer like that. icon-fire.gif

However, a better bad pun for the Sunglasses of Justice (you need to rattle one off when donning them; it's an activation code or something) would have been something like the following:

"Happy Halloween, Starscream. I didn't get a treat, so you get... (sunglasses) ...the TRUCK!"

For the record, I got the CSI reference, I just thought it was so obvious so as to not need mentioning.
