Last night i found the twins however, i did not purchase them. I am having some regret and am now starting to think that was a bad idea. Are they still super rare or are they more readily available. - Z

I'm not sure how it is in other areas, but I can't throw a rock locally without hitting them on the pegs. My area is lousy with them.

I don't see them often. In fact I haven't seen them in weeks.
I see a lot of Mudflap, Ravage, Rampage, Cannon Bumblebee, Wheelie, and Chromia.

I've seen them all of *once* and I check stores often. That set now resides in my room.

I didn't see them for months after one initial sighting, but I'm starting to see them more now.

Were they packed in smaller quantities than their wavemates? Just really popular? Both? Neither? Sandwich?

I think they're about the same from what I've seen, just the most popular amongst the new figures (IIRC Dead End, Swerve, Arcee, Blazemaster, and Stalker Scorponok) packed with them and the old figures too.

Yet to see them though I've seen their wavemates a decent amount.

I see lots of them, but they're not usually with the other transformers. They're on a separate self, or with the DVDs.

Ah, that's why nobody can find them, they're with the Rise of Cobra toys!

I've seen a fair amount of them, though less than I have their wave-mates.
Not a big deal however. As neat as they sound, I'm content with the non-combining versions.

Tons of them here. I leave mine in alt mode as they're just too...well...pink as robots.
It's Sideways that came and went like the wind in these parts.

Still pretty hard to find here. Tons of their wavemates are around though. Took me a lot of digging to find mine.
2 robots at deluxe prices + a very unique disquise +being a combiner = popularity I guess. All the pink is just the icing on the cake.

Plus out of Dead End, Swerve, Blaze Master, Stalker Scorponok, and Arcee they are really the only ones in the film. Arcee is of course, but not really all that much - I still don't see much of her (really only Dead End a lot out of that list).

They're about as rare as Gears. I see a couple of each here and there. The pegs are just really full of the previous waves. At least the Deluxes are moving though. Wal*Mart here ordered a whole pallet of the Megatron/Mixmaster/Stratosphere wave of Voyagers and it is going nowhere fast. Hopefully they'll clear out over the holidays, I'd hate to see another E-Ironhide situation where the newer figures get choked down to a trickle because of old stock, although since that's already repeated itself with CDF Red Alert and Animated Lugnut, I'm not too enthusiastic...

I've seen quite a few of them...but only at one Wal-Mart. I bought 2 sets when I did find them because I was afraid they might get hard to find...plus they're cool display pieces. One set in robot modes and one set in vehicle mode.

I got mine months ago, but they were one of only three at the Wal-Mart near Sharped AFB, and I have only just now seen them here in Lawton.

Sideways or Side
swipe? As far as ROTF Deluxes go, 'Ways is a candidate for Pegwarmer Supreme around here...

One WalMart in Buffalo is traditionally two or three waves behind, but I was there a couple of nights ago and they had several of the twins; other than that, I think I've seen them exactly
twice
(both of those at other W-Ms)

It was literally months after the wave came out before I saw them, but now I've had well over a dozen chances to snap them up... and every other figure, really. For some reason my area was about three waves behind on everything, but caught up to current practically overnight. Sadly, this is directly after I decided I'd never see those waves and bought them all elsewhere. Aw well...

Nope...Sideways gone around here. All that's left is Dead Ends.
For that matter, I haven't seen Sideswipe in over a month...just Swerves.
Ice cream twins are still everywhere, though.
