hey, that gun *is* pretty spiffy.
man.. every time i see the city commander set it makes me kick myself for not buying classics magnus when i had the chance..

So because of that you never got the City Commander armor? Boy you really are missing out. I didn't have the classics Magnus either but i didn't pass up on the Armor set. The magnus armor was on classics Prime for about a month till i could find an actual classics magnus on ebay haha
well, that and the $70 price tag for an armor add on set...
even if i wasnt unemployed ( which, i very much am ) i dont think i could justify that kind of money.
sure as hell wouldnt send it away if it showed up on my doorstep though

I pre-ordered a set from BBTS with the re-release, anyone knows when they become available? (As they said October, and October's pretty much almost done now)

BBTS is notorious for never meeting their release dates haha. TFSource has theirs already though...

I was about to cancel my pre-order for this add-on set, but stopped myself when I remembered that it was fairly inexpensive, and it'd probably be more expensive trying to acquire it later rather than now. I had thought it was just missile launchers and a gun. Your video review completely sold me on that gun. I think I'm anticipating that more than the missile launchers! I had forgotten that the original Magnus had a gun you could flip around, and this just takes that neat gimmick and makes it cooler. I'm also really happy about the additional faces.
Thats a bummer about the one launcher not fitting in the one shoulder. I wonder if that's a common problem.

Thank you very much. I'm glad i helped convince you. The launcher problem seems to be only on mine. No one else has told me about it. I think it's possible that the G1 launchers i was putting in there...made the hole bigger. A little super glue fixed my new launchers though.

My set arrived late last week. I'm really happy with it. As if City Commander wasn't cool enough already, the missile launchers and gun make him even cooler. I just really like looking at the figure and admiring the engineering and aesthetics. Knowing there's a White Prime underneath all the armor will never cease to be cool.
My launchers fit without a problem, btw. It probably was your G1 launchers that did it, which is a shame, since those holes were put there to encourage putting the G1 launchers in them.
