I recently got back into Transformers seriously for the first time in like YEARS... after a comics drawing class needed me to draw some "established characters"... I figured why not do some transformers.... and totally got sucked back into fandom (not that I'm complaining!
)I go to art school (AAU in SanFrancisco) and I can say that the somewhat tacky and unrefined G1 box art totally inspired me to draw as a kid, so I guess you could blame TF for making go down this sad, low-paying path in life

(hopefully the school scanning lab stops being a bitch and I put up some transformer artwork WIP pics)I grew up in asia, so my first exposure to TF was chinese dubbed version of the G1 Cartoon (fun fact, the chinese name for transformers roughly translates to "metal polygons, transform!") and then the Headmasters cartoon; and when i came to america, Beast Wars!
so yep, thats enough of me yapping about myself!
any fellow san francisco TF fans in here know whats the best place to get TF toys? i love the classics/universe toys but we dont have a ToysRUs/Target/Walmart anywhere in the city?!
