So what does this mean for the Sentai installment currently airing in Japan?
Will it not come over after all?

Paladin, you just made my day
I don't have my Super Legends figures with me right now, do those new figures use the Jungle Fury buck, or are they brand new sculpts? I'm hoping for the former, so I don't have to buy Green and White AGAIN to get a "proper" team.
Kinda wish that ToyFare Power Rangers poll from a few months back had gone down differently though. We could've gotten a new Super Legends figure in addition this new line, instead of "Thanks for voting, we were going to make a new MMPR Pink anyway..."

The "Megazord" part have me psyched. Megazord/Daizyujin update plz? Articulation? Mind with its transformation and BoAs like of smaller robot toys it's fully possible.
Also: Dragonzord, f-yeah.
Either way. Re-airing the 1993 original? Did I understand that part correctly?

The figures look nice, need bicep swivels though.
Reairing the original show though? That sounds like a bad idea, it's too cheesy to appeal to modern children.

It's obvious that Disney and Bandai don't have the rights to the old Ron Wasserman music, but how can you top 'Go Go Power Rangers'? Going by recent theme songs, I can't imagine a new theme song will be quite as good, but what can you do.

I mean, jeez Disney, it may cost you a little more, but just hire Shuki Levy back, maybe? The man's done little to nothing since Fox Kids disbanded back in 2000, although I can't help but wonder if he'd want to work on a kid's TV show again after nine years.
Well, the show's due to air in January, I'm sure they have some of it ready already, nothing's going to be changed at this late stage.

Well if they aren't gonna make new series, they might as we rerun the old one. So maybe in a few years he can get Ninjor and the year after I can get a Zeo Megazord.

THe original Megazord had "knee joints" that were part of the tank mode transformation.

The inaugural and most recognizable of 15 Power Rangers themes, this powered up Mighty Morphin line will feature both fresh and nostalgic play and collection experiences. Including action figures, vehicles, Megazords and role-play items aligned with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series premiering Saturday mornings January, 2010 on ABC Kids; the highly anticipated toys will begin to arrive at retail by the end of this year.
This better mean the following things:
Full Power Morpher, including the belt attatchment
Power Blaster with electronics and combining Power Lances.
Correctly colored Blade Blasters
Thunder Slinger

I think there might have been a Bandora in the Sentai Girls in Uniform statuette series, but never a proper action figure. Allegedly the Madonna bra was deemed an eye-poke hazard. Even if that issue was sidestepped, a Rita figure does not strike me as fitting Bandai's pattern of behavior for recent years. Though I guess if it's a low-ratio, one assortment thing like Melle was last year...
