Nah, it wasn't working for me either, when you posted the thread. Likely a problem with whoever was hosting, I'd wager.

For the record, staff don't habitually close threads. This can just work its way off the main page in due course - there's nothing here that's inappropriate, pursuing a potentially volatile line of inquiry, etc. that warrants closing it. It'll meet a natural end in due course if left alone.
