I found out they reissued this via 4 chan last weekend. And I was stoked! So I checked out TRU today and they HAD ONE! The only one left, as a matter of fact. $19.99 has never been so sweetly spent before.

The only classic figures they had were April, Splinter, Rocksteady and Bebop, but I'm gonna staff it w/ my on hand Mighty Mutations TMNT figures anyway.
I've only ever owned the turtle van once in my life, last year I found the basic shell of it w/ no accessories and missing the side door parts at a good will. I think I ended up reselling it to someone else. But as a kid, I never got the van, which was always my favorite. So finding out it was being reissued and I knew I had to find one.

On to the toy itself! As the last one I had was lacking in all accys, it's interesting to see how it was supposed to go together. It rolls pretty freely and all the moving parts work cleanly. I'm a little wary of the orange plastic accys, especially with how troublesome it was to mount the radar pieces together without using break force. My Mutations figures are fat, so they have to sort of stand in the walkway and only one fits in the front(sportscar Donatello), but they work with it. I just like it, sitting there on the shelf. I'll need to store away the box for it as well, I think.

Are you by any chance looking for the reissue turtles to go with that awesome van?

That's all it costs? I was expecting at least thirty, maybe forty bucks for it.

Makes me wonder how much the original release cost, since it was a gift, not something I went out and got myself.

The ones that become bay turtles are just called Mutations.
