the kid gang that showed up bout half way through the episode that helped vigilante with the crowd control

the only reason i ever heard of them was because i was talking with my uncle randall/ randy/clayton about the jlu season 2 cadmus story-arch the other day

and as usual it went from their to him talking on and on and on and on twisting my ear on the matter worse then a broken record player

i don't got nothing against him being a hardcore dc comic book fan uber geek but damn if the guy doesnt give a whole new meaning to the term long winded lol

was that group a actuel homage to the newsboy legion?

its the one where general wade ieling goes and injects himself with the captain nazi formula,

the one where he becomes a dcau version of the shaggy man and gets some doomsday scale muscle to go with it

it's the jlu season 3 episode that pays homage to the seven soldiers of victory

In the episode Patriot Act, there is a group of young street kids that Vigilante tries to keep out of trouble when General Wade shows up. Vigilante has them run crowd control. Are they a reference to the Newsboy Legion from DC comics, or just some random kids.

the background music that plays during green lantern's fight with hro talak near the very tail end of star crossed part 3was that green arrows theme playing during GA and hro talaks fight?





is it just me or does anyone else here green arrows theme piece playing at one point during the fight?


it happens during the scene where lantern uses his energy ring as a battle axe and tells hro

"yeah you can kiss my axe"

it sounds like a early takE on GA theme but it definately has that sound going for it

i know this will sound crazy to some people but when it comes to my uncle randy i swear its like the guy has his brain literally hardwired to make him snap to attention all hyper alert like he's a little kid on a chocolate sugar rush if he so much as even hears those ga/gl themes

seriously though people i could have knocked him over with a feather first time he saw green arrow show up in jlu season 1 episode 1 innitation

to say that he is nuts for the GA/GL storyline archs is a severe understatement in the least especially when it comes to the fact that he especially loves reading that really long soul searching america sight seeing trip story arch from way back when

needless to say i happen to be a serious noob when it comes to the truly old school stuff but im getting there little by little
