I really wish I knew more about the character! I need to hurry up and get BW Season 3 before I review any more BW toys. I really like the double-barrelled sharkgun, though!

Out of curiosity: my Depth Charge's disc launcher can fire a disc all of a foot and a half, ExVee reports his is closer to three feet. Anybody have one with a more respectable range, or is this a lot of space and engineering taken up for practically nothing?

I recall mine easily making it across a room. Do you have all the discs loaded when firing? The pressure of the disks above helps the disc in the chamber to fire a little better.

I do, yeah. Still less than two feet. And I don't think it'd be a case of being worn down with time, either- I just bought this Depth Charge MISB earlier this year. That's the part that really confuses me.

Mine fires very well. I really really like him. Kind of neat how he has Seaconish colors...works very well in my opinion. His vehicle mode is silly though. I hated the Universe recolor...what a waste of a good mold. I wanted to but it again but it just didn't work for me at all, especially compared to the original.

Mine really depends on how hard/fast you hit his dorsal fin. Just nudge it down and it might manage to dribble the disk all the way out of his mouth. Hammer away and it spits a good three or four feet.

Strangely enough, mine don't fire at a predictable distance. Sometimes it's only a foot, sometimes it's darn near six feet. I think it depends on just what angle it fires, and if it fires "cleanly".

Yeah, I get extra distance if I point the slot a little bit up to get an arc on it. And suddenly I get the image of Depth Charge launching clay pigeons for a Maximal skeet shooting contest...

I soo wanted those transmetal ultras back in the day. It´s a cool thing that my cousins have the Universe version, at least I've met a version of that toy out of package, and no matter what they say: It rocks!! IMO
