OK I looked around the FAQ and could not find out, who is in charge of news around here?

NightViper is the site's News Manager. Check the "Moderating Team" link at the bottom of the main forum index and everyone's staff position is listed in their profile when you click their name. Or, it's right there

Regarding the news and the front page, out of curiosity, is it possible for the Allspark's front page to have a uniform policy on links for stories? Like, if I click on a story/news link, I expect it to open a new window or tab because 9 and a half times out of 10, all of the other links on the front page for stories and news do that ... except for Fwiffo's bits that are direct links. It's just ... annoying, I guess. I mean, nothing against the guy, just those posts, that's all.

Okay, I take that back, annoying probably isn't the right word and is also probably too strong. Bothersome? Odd? Something like that and along those lines. Anyways, sorry, had to get that off of my chest. Thanks.

There is a setting that they can manually choose when posting the story. Fwiff probably forgot to check that.

Heck, I didn't train him. Did anyone actually train him, now that I think about it? I think I had to put it off and he just started posting news on his own.
