Kinda generic...but by no means bad. Good fight scene. Wish they just killed Barricade off for good though. Don't really see the point in keeping him alive at this point.

I agree, they're not using him in the movies anyway.
Maybe furman wants to kill him in his "nefarious" arc

Pretty meh. Not much happens in the story and the art isn't that great. Movie designs continue to be terrible outside of the big screen.

Except Milne. He's practically the only one I think who has the best handle on the movie designs.

I disagree... I like his G1 stuff, but adding his already detailed style to the detailed Movie designs just makes them look confusing a lot of the time. There was quite a few parts of RoS and Alliance where I had no idea what the heck was going on, where the art was supposed to carry it. Defiance, on the other hand, was a lot easier to make out.
I agree that the Movie designs work poorly on paper in general, but the artists with less-detailed styles at least make them more comprehensible, usually.
Anyhoo. I'd been hoping to subscribe to this, but with how my finances are right now I'm going to have to wait for the TPB.

Milne draws them closest to screen-accurate, I think. But through no fault of his own, the designs just don't work well in comics.
Anyway, this was pretty inoffensive. Not bad, not particularly special.
Never had an interest in Bumblebee or Barricade or Sam for that matter. But I'm looking forward to Furman's take on Sideswipe next issue and later Mowry's re-take on Arcee. Arcee being one of the characters Mowry wrote quite well in Reign Of.

What I meant and sadly agree.
Was hoping Mowry would finally answer about Barricade's status, but noooo! He has to let the cop car live again!

A bit lighthearted and it somehow clashes with the Bumblebee I had in my head after watching both films.

I mean, "guardian" yeah, but this is kinda taking the protection business quite a bit. Oh well. At least I got Milne's cover version.

Why are so many panels in the preview skew-slanted to the left? I understand dynamic esposition/reasoning and all, but they're all slanted the same way, and at about the same degree. that doesn't promote action or suspense.

Hmph, they ain't got it up on iTunes. Won't be buying it then. Thought Ryall said they were going to continue with e-releases?
I do like the cover art though. Not the one with Megan Fox's boobs either, the one with the nice purple graphic design going on.

Nobody cares about Megan Fox's boobs.

Nobody should care about her, PERIOD. She's trashy as hell.

Hm, just read this, and it's weird that the highlight of the whole comic was Sam not knowing how to operate heavy machinery in an instant, as so many other human sidekicks and plucky comic relief characters are oft to do.

I can understand that the artist might not have been allowed to use actor likeness.
I don't think that body stature is part of "actor likeness", however. So why does Sam look like he has gained a few extra pounds throughout this issue?

I dunno about Actor Likeness being off-limits, since they were able to use an actor photograph of Megan Fox for the Fanexpo exclusive cover.
As for content, I found this comic to be unenjoyable.

I just re-read the two Hulk issues that deal with Rick Jones' bachelor party and wedding.
I found the humor extremely entertaining.
Those two issues should be required reading for any writer who intends to use "humor" in his comics.
