So I went to my local Wal-mart today to search for the two toys I want most out of the new waves coming out. After searching the aisles for the ice cream twins and my beloved toaster bot, I was dismayed to see they weren't there yet. However, I found the boxes that were to be stocked tonight, and like the little deviant I am, I had to open the one labeled "TF Scouts Wave 04". And low and behold Ejector was in there. I giggled like an idiot for awhile then brought him home.

After taking pix in the package seen here:

So after taking him out of the box I decide to try to transform him to a toaster. Well. His limbs pop off really easily, so it made it a little difficult when the limbs pop off and I accidentally put them on backwards. I facepalmed a little bit when I realized it. I also noticed he seems to have four hands....Why exactly he needs four hands im not sure. Maybe four hands are better than two for making stuff burn and explode.

His tiny feet make him very very hard to stand up. I found leaning him against the little side pieces on the back of his legs, made him stand, despite a little awkwardly. I had to lean him against the waterbottle to make him stand.

I do love his face, it reminds me kind of Rayman Raving Rabbids, when the Rabbids yell frustratedly. icon-waspy.gif

The toaster form I like. It makes me giggle. He has buttons and even a plug to plug him in. Its adorable.

I also loved the blurb on the back of the box about Ejector:

"Born mindless and driven by the heat pulsing in his tiny body, Ejector knows nothing but how to burn. Even when he was a simple toaster burning things is what he did best. Now that he's got a simple mind of his own, and Flamethrowers to go with it, he lives to torch everything around him."

Hehe. Awesome. Flamethrowers. Perhaps thats what he needs four hands for?

All in all, im not disappointed in this toy. I waited for him and was totally excited to find him tonight. Other than his tiny feet i love him icon-hotrod.gif

Knight in Rusty Armor
yeah i wish his mouth would move up and down. A lever on the back would have rocked.
The feet piss me off.
I'll add he has very good arm movement and decent leg movement.
the feet again are the only real shortfall. Still worth the 8 bucks.
It's San Holo!
His toaster modde looks so pissed.
HeyMickey
Nice review and pics! I can't wait to find the little gremlin myself. icon-hotrod.gif Though it does weird me out that the cord is mounted to the top of the toaster. I guess they couldnt mount it at the base due to the transformation scheme. :/

Yeah the way the back slides to allow the top part of the toaster to turn, they couldnt mount it any differently I dont think. Hes way cute though. I was oh so excited to see him.

I wish I could find this little fella, but there seems to be a terrible drought in my city right now.

Well like i said, Knight in Rusty Armor and I had to literally bust open a box in walmart to get him. They weren't even on the shelves yet. I had him be a look out while I opened the box.

Question: Can his extra hands be folded up in to the upper arm? It looks like that is where they came from. I ask because I'm not to crazy with the look of the extra hands but it seems like they could be omitted by just leaving them up...

Yes they can they actually make one of the curved sides of the toaster. So if you dont like the 4 arms you could probably fold them back up. Ill take a pic of what it looks like folded up and edit this post after photobucket loads my bumblebee pix......whenever that is *eyeroll*

Oh my...I thought the KO we saw a while back was the only version... icon-bee.gif icon-silverbolt.gif

Exactly what I said when I first saw pix of him that Knight In Rusty Armor sent me a few months ago. I giggled like a moron for awhile in the store when i busted open the box and saw him icon-fire.gif

Just got him last night. Very fun little toy, well worth the price.
Megazord
I just found him today. He rules.

Yeah, I'm pleased with him as well. The insane wide mouthed face, the mundane alt mode, the little cord tail, he's just really fun.

That mouths for sticking in a peice of toast

Anyone else's Ejector have a lot of problems with the silver paint scraping off? After I opened him and started to transform him, which is when most of the silver paint is revealed, I noticed a lot of little nicks and scrapes that get worse super easily if you scrape at them at all with your fingernail. I actually really like the toy other than that, he's really poseable, has a lot of personality, and his parts all move around really smoothly without crowding each other.

No problems with the paint yet, but I will second what others have said...he has easily some of the loosest ball joints I've ever seen. He's a nifty little guy but man, do his limbs pop off.
Ave Destron
Just a basic filled and made with pure joy.

he also hungers for bread.

Anyone else's Ejector accept a lot of problems with the argent acrylic abrading off? After I opened him and started to transform him, which is if a lot of of the argent acrylic is revealed, I noticed a lot of little nicks and scrapes that get worse cool calmly if you scrape at them at all with your fingernail. I in fact absolutely like the toy added than that, he's absolutely poseable, has a lot of personality, and his locations all move about absolutely calmly after bottleneck anniversary other.

Yep, I've had the same problem. Nicks, scrapes, even just worn edges. I love the toy, but I'm not sure if I want to transform him anymore now icon-fire.gif
