So last year the guests were herded back and forth by "handlers" so that we, the normal folk, couldn't really interact with them as we had done in previous years. Which made me sad as I rather enjoyed trading insults with David Kaye randomly in the hallways.
So I'm curious as to how it went down this year. Since I missed the fun can anyone tell me if the handlers were present yet again?

I wasn't out enough to notice if any of the guests were in bars or restaurants. I wasn't volunteering either.
What about the Hasbro staff? Do they still hang around the hotel bar, or do they try to ditch the fans now in order to get some peace?

Who knows. Maybe it's something the guests want. I remember one year some girl woman "kissed" David Kaye on the cheek, only to part her lips and plant her tongue. I don't know what to think... are they maybe objectified too much? That people who really only have a one-way relationship with a fictional character are maybe... going a little too far? How much of it is tolerable, and how much of it is insulting? (can I blame the animu fans for this behavior? I have to imagine that's where the majority of obsessed female David Kaye fans come from. because... there's no shortage of girl animu fans that are bat-jive insane. )

Ben Yee mentioned having a drink with Gregg Berger, but he's Ben Yee, so it's hard to say if Berger was mingling at the bar. This reminds me: I haven't read ANYTHING about the Gregg Berger/Michael McConnohie panel. No pictures, nothing. Did it... happen?

I have noticed that Peter Cullen has always been with someone - at least a Hasbro rep. The last guests that I saw actually mingling were Scott McNeil and Richard Newman back in '06.

My roommate went, said they were pretty funny.

I have trouble with VA panels though, as they're basically 100% QA, and I hate somewhere between 50%-90% of question askers.
