MICHAEL McCONNOHIE is in a TRANSport of joy to be part of BotCon this amazing 25th anniversary year – Michael of course played the popular G-1 characters Tracks and Cosmos.

Michael is the only G1 voice actor to also appear in a dubbed version of the Transformers "Robots in Disguise" in which he essayed homage to Peter Cullen as Ironhide, as well as voicing the studly Hotshot.

In anime films, Michael was D in "Vampire Hunter D," and Shin in "Fist of the North Star." In anime tv series he voiced Harlock in "Captain Harlock," Rolf Emerson in "Robotech," Schwarzwald in "The Big O," and Det. Ikari in "Paranoia Agent." Currently he can be heard in "Bleach" as Kuroudo, Ryuken Ishida and Shawlong Qufang, and in "Code Geass" as the Emperor Charles zi Britannia.

icon-wildride.gif icon-screamer.gif Fraggit! And I don't have anything TF-related for him to sign!

He came to TFCon a few years ago and is a great guest. icon-hotrod.gif

Aside from Weird Al, I have to say, I'm a little disappointed in the guests this year. Not that they're not great guests. It's just that I've seen them all before.

Hit all the drug stores you can find until you can locate an overpriced Legends Cosmos.

(I had to pay $9 for mine at Rite Aid. This should be less than $5...)

Well, that doesn't bother me especially much, although I definitely did find myself noting that McConnohie was at the previous Pasadena BotCon....

Echoed in its entirety. Man, someone finally said it. One would think that having the 'con in the vicinity of where alla these people work, if not live, would make things easier in terms of getting new guests to attend. I get that there's still monetary compensation to consider in the mix, but geez.

(Hope for surprise guests, I guess. And then be torqued 'cus you didn't know to bring the requisite autograph fodder.) icon-fire.gif

I'd be way more excited if they got Michael Bell.

Infinitely more excited if they got Tom Kenny.

Yeah, Tom Kenny would be pretty crazy. Or any of the movie stars. Perhaps some will show up at the dinner.

However, I'm really excited about the guest list. Stan Bush I'm not that excited about, And even though I've seen David Kaye 2 or 3 times, his panels always manage to be hilarious. He's a seriously awesome dude.

But this will be a first time for me to meet Michael and Gregg, so I'm definitely looking forward to having them sign stuffs icon-hotrod.gif. Weird Al just makes it that much sweeter.

Let's get Leonard Nimoy!

(I can dream....)

Nothing personal against Stan Bush, but for the life of me I can't understand why he keeps getting invited back to the convention. To put it bluntly, aside from a couple of cheesy songs, he doesn't bring anything to the table.
Thylacine2000

Obviously it would be great to have Tom Kenny, Townsend Coleman... heck, anybody from Animated.

But looking at earlier series: how many surviving TF voice actors, who could reasonably be expected to have a lot of interesting stuff to contribute, HAVEN'T been convention guests by now? Apart from Frank Welker?

I mean, as great as it would be to meet Campbell "Rampage" Lane or Lee "Ravage" Tockar, I don't think they'd really remember much after the years.

(Maybe Don Brown?)

Glad to see McConnohie back. Some of my fondest memories are from when he was drinking St. Pauli Girl in our hotel room back in 2006. icon-ironhide.gif
