Every time I try to change to a new avatar, it's displayed at a size of 200x52. I have images uploaded to my website, and this is happening no matter which one I try setting my avatar as. Doesn't matter what size the image file I'm linking is, it's always 200x52. What's going on?

Can you post the link to the image you're trying to use?

But it basically doesn't matter. Any other image I upload and try to use as an avatar gets squished and stretched to 200x52, no matter what size it is. And this has only happened today, trying to change my avatar after having the same one for so long without any issue, uploaded in the same place.

I'm not a tech guru, but mine's on photobucket and displaying just fine at 1** x 1** (something in the one hundreds each side). Photobucket's free, so if there's no other way to resolve the issue, that might.
But maybe someone else can shed some insight?

Probably has something to do with my own webspace and the anti-hotlinking I have set up. But it's weird that I've only just recently had a problem. My previous avatar displayed fine for years, and the pics in my signature seem fine too. Oh well, I'll stick with Photobucket for now.

I've had this problem before. The only thing I can suggest is clearing your cache.
