Going to be difficult to decide which one to get. Both become command decks, both have rollers and both have extra ones, right? Anyone got any preferences? I'm thinking of getting the Nemesis BTS one and an Optimus FansProject one. You just know they will make a Nemesis version as well. I do like that you can attach the FansProject Commander upgrade trailers to their Optimus trailer. Do we know if that is possible with the BTS one?

No. I would get the nemisis one from fansproject, as it goes better with the nemisis upgrade.
I won't be getting either, mind you thats mainly because I lack any classics that weren't from beast wars.

Well, for me I'm buying both trailers. I'm planning to get the Nemesis BST trailer for Nemesis and FansProject's G3 Trailer for Optimus. If you can only buy one, I would go with FansProjects.



I don't think the Commander trailer can attach to the BST one. Has not been mentioned and since BST.Toy did not make the Commander set I doubt they would show pics of their product combining/attaching with their competition.

If you can afford both trailers, I would say grab them both. They both look awesome that way each Prime can have a different trailer on your shelf.

The FansProject G3 trailer comes with a boodle of weapons for your Classics figures.

Also, it is capable of launching its Roller drone.

The BTS.Toy Mobile Command Base trailer will not connect to City Commander. There is one cool advantage I think BTS.Toy's trailer has over FansProject's. FP's is being designed around Bumblebee to ride inside, from the images they've released online. And from that one image showing the weapons, there might not be any room for both Roller and Bumblebee to ride inside the trailer, unless Roller attaches to the bottom of it. BTS' trailer will have enough room for any of the Classics/Universe autobot cars to ride inside with out problems, since Roller is the wheelbase, freeing up space inside.

Has FanProjects announced a Nemesis version or can we just assume it will happen given their success with the armor. Lots of good points on what to pick. I determined to get only one of each, hopefully my willpower will hold out. These fan made items are killing me. I've got both commander upgrades and just ordered all of the Quintessons off of BigBadToyStore since they are on sale.

They haven't announced a Nemesis version or any other version for the G3 trailer, but I wouldn't be surprised it they decide to make one later on.

I'm currently waiting on a Shadow Commander trailer from BBTS. If Fans Project makes a Shadow version of this other trailer, that would be a nice thing to go with it. And then I might get the other trailer in Optimus colors so everyone has unique accessories.

I'm planning on getting the FansProject G3 Prime trailer as long as I have the funding for it.

That's awesome. I hope if they repaint it into a Nemesis verision, they'll give it a new set of weapons for the Cons instead. Still going to hold out in the hopes of Powermaster armour down the line though, even if this is getting harder to resist each time I see it.

So, can anyone figure out who all of the weapons are supposed to go with?

Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Mirage, Grimlock, and I'd say Hound.

I see a sword for Grimlock, gun for Mirage and Sideswipe. I can't figure the other two. Maybe one for Bumblebee? The other one looks like G1 Prowl's gun, but it's probably for Hound.

I'm on the boat on waiting for the PM Trailer for Classics Prime, but chances are I might crack when I see the G3 Trailer is up for sale. The added accessories won me over.


SO has Fansproject given a release date?

That's the one thing that's frustrating me right now. I would love to see some preorders go up on things like the Classics Matrix, the Mini-Megs blasters, etc.

It'll work just fine, considering Roller nestles in a cavity underneath the guardian/repair drone.

If Bumblebee fits in there at all, Roller should not make a difference.

Heck, any deluxe Autobot car will fit in there. That space is much longer than just Bumblebee.

Yeah, I noticed those too. There's more going on there than what we've seen so far. I'm thinking that the ones on the sides of the trailer at least flip open to reveal the weapon racks.

BBTS has put up preorders now. We finally have pricing on the thing, as well as some new shots of the combat deck and repair bay in action.

Definitely seems worth it.

To you maybe, but I was expecting about the same as the other trailer, not 20 bucks more for a similar big box on wheels but with 5 small guns added. Hell, that's more than I paid for the City Commander armour.

Shame, I was actually startin to warm up to this, but I'm happier leaving my Prime trailorless and keeping the 80 bucks before shipping, which adds on at least another 30 to get it to the UK.

Only way I'd spend that much (or more) on a trailer would be for Powermaster armour, this just isn't worth it IMO.

This thing has alot of molded detail, when compared to the City Commander, which had alot of flat surfaces.

Doesn't have to do as much though, or have to have the uniform mold tolerances consistent enough to fit securely around various parts of another figure and form a stable trailer.

I mean the flip out guns/probe thing, Roller and the extra weapons are great, and I'd buy this over the other one anyday, but it's still basicly a big box on wheels with a few odds and ends inside, and I just can't justify that kinda dough for what I'd end up with.

I'm sure it's worth it to some people, I just don't personally think this is up to the same level of awesomeness as the City Commander armour, which I'd have paid more for than I actually had to.

It's a trailer than completes my Prime. I'm getting it. And I'm probably worse off that some of you guys around here.

It's a lot bigger than the City Commander trailer, features much more sculpted detail, has chromed parts and clear windows, and even has a launching mechanism for Roller.

I does has less mass, though.

On injection molds, mass isn't as much of an issue as the total length and width of the parts. Being that this is the biggest item FansProject has done so far, and that it does have some parts that are literally the largest (longest/widest) parts they've fabricated, it wouldn't surprise me if the company had to invest in a bigger injection mold tool to do it.

I'm sure if it's being sold for 80 dollars, then that's the right price for what was involved for it to get made, I just don't feel it's worth that much to me, and I am disapointed by that, and wasn't expecting it to be so high.

I'd like a trailer for my classics Prime, as I do feel it's missing something right now, but I also feel it's missing a super mode as well as a trailer, especially standing next to armoured Ultra Magnus and Nemesis Prime. It's more than I'm willing to pay to only make Prime almost perfect basically.

I have the chance to pick up the Mobile Command Base for Nemesis Prime cheap recently. Does it come with any accessories for other figures like guns?

it is much heavier then the commander armor trailer, bigger in all aspects, comes with bonus accessories... all the functionality of the original trailer and it has the fold out 'cloaking shields'

I happily paid the asking price for this... and Canadian money (thanks to my Government) is worth less then American money so I don't even have that in my favor like some people do...

you can always wait for it to go on sale somewhere... but the likelihood of that happening is inversely proportional to whether the people wanting repaints will get their wish.

I did check youtube, and the Nemesis Prime Mobile Command Base. Those are the Optimus Prime ones. I was curious what, if any, accessories came with the Nemesis version. Does it come with the guns that the Optimus Prime versions has?

yeah I don't think as quick to mobilization as the torch and pitchfork wing of the fandom is, that were any of the repaints to come with less value than the originals.. we'd have heard about it by now.

the guns are interchangeable you can give them to any figure with the sometimes standard 5mm hand hole. but yes Bad bee can have the bad gun.

Speaking of which though. I want to five my Nemesis Prime a sword, but that is one thing missing from this set. Is there any other action figure on the market with a nice, generic sword that can fit a 5mm hole and looks good with Nemesis Prime?

I actually just caved and ordered the G3 trailer, since BBTS is having their anniversary sale, and it's 15% off. $67 was pretty much a price I couldn't pass up.

I'm suddenly tempted to get both, as well the custom Magnus armor.

I bought the Nemesis version as I thought it seemed to go best with that figure, while the Gen 3 trailer goes better with Prime.

Someone did post a pic here recently showing that Animated Prime actually looks really good towing the Autobot version of the BTS version.


Now Im just hoping that reprolables will give the go ahead on the recomendation - request I made about making a Nemesis version of the BTS sticker sheet they made...that thing is in need of the awesome touch up that could offer.

I'm definitely thinking of getting the supplemental Reprolabels stickers for the G3. The viewscreens are niiiiiice.

Animated Prime does look good with that trailer, I'm actually thinking of buying the trailer because of that.


I have the Nemesis version as well and I almost bought the Prime BST sticker sheet from Reprolabels for it, now I'm glad I didn't....now I really hope they make a Nemesis one.

I just bought the Nemesis Command Base for $50 shipped. I hope that's not a bad deal. I also would purchase a repro label set for it, if it existed. I might just add some Decepticon symbols to the trailer.
