A crazed Wasp finds his way to Earth to exact his revenge on Bumblebee... but he doesn't count on the Elite Guard following him.

In the words of the immortal green bard, "Oh goodie!"
It's San Holo!
Episode is up on youtube for those who want to see it early.

Episode 34

Jetfire and Jetstorm are awesome.
Bass X0
Surprised its up so early but not complaining.

I now want a Wasp remold of a Bumblebee toy.

Sentinel's still dumb.

Jetstorm and Jetfire are okay but need a lot more character development.

Still no Sari at all? I though since her upgrade, she would feature heavily in the new episodes.

Wasp's revenge was pretty dumb too but then so were Optimus and the others for not seeing through such an obvious plot. Maybe Wasp's dumb plan is to make Waspinator all the more fearsome when he gets reformatted?

And what will happen to the Elite Guard without Ultra Magnus? Will Sentinel take over as supreme commander?

Still can't get over Sari not appearing at all in this episode either...

A good episode? Still no where near as good as Transwarped; maybe not as funny as Three's A Crowd but a lot more plot focused.
Spin-Out
Wasp was actually kinda scary for the first few moments. "Bumbleboooooooot!"

It's funny how, for once, we actually CARE about the human sidekick. I'm starting to worry that they might have written her out of the show.
Esser-Z
...Well, I'm buying the Twins. They're awesome.

Holy jive at that ending.
Bass X0
speaking of jive, I found it amusing when Jazz said "thats just Sentinel jive for situation report"

Oh and Ultra Magnus didn't tell Ironhide that Shockwave and Longarm Prime are one and the same. Ironhide and the other Autobots on Cybertron could still be under the impression that Longarm Prime is on the level.

Shockwave/Longarm Prime definitely lost his cool this episode. Unlike G1 Shockwave, this guy is capable of emotion - even as Shockwave trying to contact Megatron he was definitely showing anxiety.
Esser-Z
Bulkhead was adorable this episode.

Who knew he could make little squeaky noises like an oversized rubber duck?

And did you recognise the face in the background of Bumblebee's game?

Nice G1 reference there. Oh and Bumblebee's opponent seemed to be Noob Saibot.

TORQ III, baby!

I wasnt really that impressed with this episode, It's nice to see Jazz & Sentinel (Jerkface) Prime come back and it's nice to see both Jetfire & Jetstorm make there first animated appearance, but there italian/spanish accents really dont suite them one bit...Scott Mcneil & Brian Drummond should really have come back to play those characters again.

As for Ultra Magnus... icon-screamer.gif Looks like he will never be able to deal with it now...If he should pass on, then who will take over as leader of the Elite Guard?

Overall, pretty weak ep...Where the hell is Sari when you need her!?

Where the hell is Sari when you need her!?

She's either recuperating in Sumdac Tower, shopping in Twelve Oaks Mall or bumping into doorways she was short enough to enter as a kid.

Or, she's talking to the suits at Cartoon Network and Hasbro about getting her own superhero show, the Steel Skater.

I was disappointed that Wasp didn't get a beast mode here, but perhaps next in Predacons Rising.

The twins have Spanish accents.

This is probably now one of my favorite episodes.

No, Twins are Eastern Europes.
AdoringProwlfan
Wow, I certainly wasn't expecting it to be there this early, but I'm happy it was there, haha.

I thought that the Autobots were definitely slow on the uptake. Couldn't they have just made "Bumblebee" take off his mask, or didn't they notice the purple eyes?

Sentinel is a JERK, like always... although his and Jazz's contrasting reactions to Earth-things are always hilarious. I love it that Sentinel can't drive in the rain!

I am disappointed that Sari did not appear at all. I mean... yeah she got a lot of cool screentime in Transwarped, but I figured she was just sleeping or at least recovering off-screen in "Three's a Crowd". Yet she's still not seen anywhere? O.o

Anyway... I'd say that this episode wasn't overly brillient, but I liked it better than "three's a crowd". I'm not sure what to think of the twins, but they were cool overall.

Sorry if this post seemed rushed. I'm multitasking at the moment icon-waspy.gif
Scaleblade
DELICIOUS RUSSIAN JET BOTS.

I didn't think I'd like them, but I do! Definately picking up their toys now.. their accents are just.. mmm..

Loved the episode tons, though not crazy for Wasp's voice or his dialogue, but the first time seeing him was such a great scene. And how he manages to escape.. yea.. yea this definitely ain't classic Waspy.

I feel bad watching this early now. >: What am I going to watch this Saturday!? D:
Strafe
Wake up, Magnus! icon-screamer.gif *shakes his monitor*
The accents are horrible and grating. I kept hoping that for some inexplicable reason, they'd drop them.
While the animation was kinda poor, the plot of the episode itself was fantastic. Things are escalating quickly!
Ave Destron
Shockwave > Megatron

I love it.
EvilEyeSigma
I'll wait for FanofTransformers to put it up. His are a bit less...messy. Two 11 minute sections to four 6 minute ones.
TheTurnipKing
Nah, Sari just needs some recoup time. Interesting that she doesn't seem to be at Autobot Headquarters where we last saw her, tho. It's possible she got home after the last episode, or that she's been back at Sumdac Tower all this time.

Wasp has quite depressed me this episode, though. He might be deranged, but you'd think that after all those Stellar cycles, he could have come up with a better plan.

I approve of the cliffhanger, though. I wonder if Magnus is actually dead or just critical? He sounded BAD.
Database
Well if the premier is anything to go by, then he's not dead yet. He didn't turn gray like Optimus did.

Actually, assuming they operate out of downtown Detroit, a futuristic Eastland Mall (Center) is probably the closer bet. Especially considering its proximity to I94.

(Speaking of which, a 94 sign was visible in the background of one of the scenes in this episode.)
Orin J
no in-show adverts? looks liek this one was a leak. i find it ironic, considering it's the one where Shockwave goes rouge and bail out early so he'll have more time to make his escape. guess he couldn't wait til saturday....

Re-watch the last scene. Ironhide can be heard saying "Longarm! We know you're in there! Come out quietly[.]"

All-in-all, this episode seemed fairly rushed, and the end with the "we can tell who's who by their gaming skill" made me facepalm, even if it didn't go anywhere. It just seemed to be a jumble of plot, loosely tied together.
Robert McSantos
My favorite part was when Wasp was struggling to use pronouns. icon-hotrod.gif

He's a bit more competent than I thought he'd be. It's a little disconcerting.

I got the impression that the test wasn't the gaming skill so much as who would freak out. They knew Bumblebee could play and Wasp couldn't. Wasp also knew that. Obviously, trying to play would get him outed. So, he did what he did--not they reacted as if something like that was expected.

And it still was better than "have a race".

I'm usually the last to care or complain about bad animation, but wow.

I have to point out that in video 3 at 5:53 or so, Jetstorm has actually been replaced by what appears to be Jazz, and not just in coloring. I believe I see a mirror sticking off his shoulder. That's a pretty bad error.

Still watching, will give my impressions on plot when I'm done.
Silent_Magnus
I wonder if Bumblebee is going to keep Wasp's helmet, or if he keeps spares of his own.

Hmm, I wonder how put out by this Megatron will be, given that he was willing to destroy the Autobots stranded on Earth to keep Shocky's secret? I mean, on the one hand, no access to the Spacebridge Nexus anymore. On the other, they may not need it if Starscream ever discovers that Wave Field Manipulator thingy?

Wonder if that error will appear in the version at the weekend, too.
Silent_Magnus
I'm going to wait till the twins get more screen time before I pass judgment on them.

And Phil gets a new addition to his list of roles with Jetstorm.
He is definitely the "voice actor who was previously a guest, but practically becomes a regular in season 3".

Yeah, this was, like "Total Meltdown" level, defintely some of the weaker animation from the show.
Rust
Kinda disappointed we didn't get "Waspinator", but it does let us get to know Wasp a little better.

Still, the most interesting part of the episode happened in the final minute.
crazyjw18
Ok, finished watching. Animation aside, it wasn't a horrid episode by any means. Wasp was fairly entertaining, we finally got the see the twins in action, and it had more Sentinal Prime jerkiness. Plus Bumblebee gets tossed around. The plot depended on everyone getting the idiot ball a bit more than usual, but whatever.

Plus Magnus getting scrapped. Poor guy always gets the sucker punch.

I already knew what to expect from the twins in terms of accent. From the way they were written in the comic all I could think was dumb with a slavic accent, and it did not dissapoint.

Silent_Magnus
I think Magnus needs to keep more ninja around.
Robert McSantos
So now that everyone believes Longarm is the real traitor, Wasp is off the hook, right? His only crime is assaulting Bumblebee, and some would say he deserves a medal for that.

Even if the Autobots catch him, what can they do with him?
chiasaur11
Tell him to hit Bumblebee more?
AdoringProwlfan
I hope that Wasp is off the hook... poor guy he's actually got something in common with BlackArachnia now, and will have even more in common with her once he gets reformatted--assuming is he going to become Waspinator.

(On a side note, any idea how this episode got leaked? Just curious)

I really loved Prowl's line, "Put down the hotdog vendor!" when Bumblebee was trying to smear mustard all over himself. That was so cute... even if it was kinda corny.

Also I wonder if maybe Sari was absent from this episode for her own protection, sorta. I mean, obviously she was not mentioned at all, nor was she part of the plot, but I'm thinking from the writer's angle... I wonder if maybe it was better that she stay out of the way for this episode. After all, if the Autobot Elite Guard could create a person just for the sake of making him into a doomsday weapon, and could break the rules to make two flying Autobots... who knows what they might do if they saw Sari now.

And... I can't believe they could just bump off Ultra Magnus so easily like that. Although... I wonder what exactly Shockwave/Longarm has in mind to do now. Obviously his cover is now blown--Ironhide's line made that obvious. And attacking the big leader was certainly a good way to "take things into his own hands", but now what exactly is he going to do? Sabotage as much as he can, download all the data he can, and run off to join his fellow Decepticons?

Also I wonder how Megatron and Starscream are doing, warping around the galaxy right now... I'll wager that Megatron is gonna somehow show up just in time to lead his Decepticon troops at the very end of the season in the big finale or something >.>

Oh and I do have one other question. Does the movie count as three episodes out of the thirteen episodes, or is the movie seperate, or does it count as one episode, or... what? Because frankly, I think it would suck if we've already seen five episode with only nine left to go. I mean... only so much can happen in nine more episodes, and if this is indeed the last season, I want there to be as many as possible, heh

Argh, Jetfire and Jetstorm suck. Too many annoying things going on to enjoy the few good ones.
