I've been working on this for the past week or so.


I'm getting really damn tired of painting brown stripes. The color I'm using for the Dark Brown covers like water and I need to put on like 4 coats of it to get it looking solid.

Also, I wish my "flat" testors clearcoat didnt look exactly the same as gloss. :/

I don't know if it's the lights, but that looks like you've painted it as Fox Kids Dinobot.

Probably just the lights. The color I'm using is called Maple Syrup and its just a chocolaty kind of brown.

if you're having trouble with your clear coat glossing try letting it set for maybe 1 minute or so and then dabbing it with the brush or a paper towel... giving the paint texture will change the reflection of light on the surface.

So far it looks good.

How are you going to pull off the sigil switcher?

I'm not. I don't like it, so it's not going to be available. Dinobot never had a faction symbol on his chest on the show, so mine won't either.

That's how I dealt with it.
