Hello, I very recently became a HUGE fan of the newest Transformers series, so I decided to stop in and check this place out. My favorite character is Prowl (I positively ADORE him) although I gotta say, Bumblebee comes as a close second.

Anyway... nice forum icon-hotrod.gif

Welcome! Hope you have a good time!

Thanks for the welcomes. And now, I have something to say. I certainly hope I don't sound disrespectful or rude, but I'm simply going to state my opinion, and what I feel, here.

Perhaps it is a bit out of line for me to do this in public, but I'm just going to say that I've spoken to a couple of members and apparently someone thinks that me starting up a whole bunch of threads gets obnoxious after a while, and at least one other person thinks I might actually be someone's sock-puppet account.

I'm having fun here, I start up what I deem to be acceptable discussion threads, (And I might add that my threads do get posted in a lot, so I assume that other people are having a good time discussing the topics as well) and apparently this makes me somewhat "obnoxious", and apparently I post "dumb" subjects that make it suspicious that I might be someone's duplicate account.

So well, whatever I guess. I'm having fun, I enjoy talking to fellow Transformers fans, but apparently I'm going to get judged for it, just because I may post topics that are considered "dumb" by some.

Whatever. See you all around,

Your posts are fine and it's great to see new topics popping up every day. Don't listen to the critics. I have seen with my own eyes that they are not above personal attacks against anyone they disagree with or whatever. Just ignore them.

Making topics is fine, but it doesn't hurt to put some thought into them. The AllSpark has a wide variety of users, but most tend to not just post whatever comes to mind.

I hardly think you're a 'sock-puppet' account, but the AllSpark is a place that like many other forums, has its own majority (we're mostly 20 to 30-something males that either got into this with G1 or Beast Wars), with its own way of conducting things. What you're doing is hardly ban-able or even deserving of a warning, but if someone feels your posting isn't all that constructive, well, that's their opinion. Not everyone is going to care about fanfic concepts, like reproduction or relationships.

In short, I'm fine with posting, but put a bit of thought into it. Maybe lurk a bit, get your bearings. We're not exactly known as a haven for fangirls, I'm sorry to say, but if you want a forum with more like-minded individuals, well, God knows you're not short of options.

I'm sorry if I sounded impolite or anything in my post. I certainly wasn't trying to sound like a snob or anything, if I came across as sounding like one.

And I agree that not everyone is going to like or be overly interested in the subjects that I post. I suppose I am a little sensitive in some ways, especially considering I was once banned from a forum without any explanation whatsoever, and then suddenly the ban was lifted and the staff at the said forum acted like they didn't even know anything about the ban.

So far I've found many of the posters here, from what I've seen, to be civil in their postings, which is a good sign. And I am sorry if I have annoyed or offended anyone with what I've said in this thread. I've just seen far too many forums that I liked go down the tubes because a clique formed, or the staff chose to take sides in a problematic issue between members. I just hope that doesn't happen here.

So again I apologize. icon-hotrod.gif

You're never going to be able to please everyone, anywhere ~ here included.

Fanfic totally rocks! I love reading all of the different angles that people take when they write Tformers. Especially those writers that are not afraid to venture outside of the conventional lines. I take big risks with Transformers fanfic too ~ if someone doesn't take risks how will anything new ever arrive in the Tformers universe?

I struggle with battle scenes and any scenes that require brains ~ like the science bits with Jetfire and Starscream. Personally I wish I could co-write my book with a guy. He could do the battle scenes and brainy scenes with his logical maleness and I could do the other scenes with my more emotional woman-ness. That would make for a really balanced book!!

I'd find a way to re-phrase that, if I were you.
