I got two Universe Screamers and I want to dye one with navy blue to get Thundercracker and the other orange to get Sunstorm. I've tried to dye once before and got the color I wanted but it was a Activators Thundercracker and he's just one color.
Now from what I understand the color of the plastic and the color of the dye will mix to some extent. Does anyone know hoe the blue parts on Screamer will come out with the colors I wan to use?
Or should I just use paint, if so what is the best brand to use?

I'm finding not all Universe toys are dye-able...I've had Universe Legends Bumblebee (Animated) soaking in green dye for over 24 hours, and almost no change despite careful cleaning and even some roughening of the surface. That said, I'd suggest dying for the color that will have to be on the rubbing joints, and paint the rest as need be.

Almost seems like too much work now.
So why a green Ani Bee?

Wasp! Because now that he's not getting an Earth vehicle mode, I know there won't be one on the shelves to buy and am making one.
