My Inferno's got more of a brown color where you say that yours is "gunmetal" Is mine different of do I not know my colors?

Might be a lighting issue. It looks like a straight up metallic gray to me, no real brown. But my apartment is lit with compact fluorescents. Okay, holding it under sunlight I see a very faint brown tint, sort of a 60% French Gray.

with the arm canon the way it is Dave... how likely do you think it is we'll be seeing a Grapple?

I'll have to look at mine again when I get home but I recall very brown plastic. Maybe I should get mine in the sun light too, or take it in the bath room where I have compact florescent.

I can see them doing a cannon-to-crane swap, although it'd be rather puny. Also, too many of the hose details are molded in rather than glued on, so it'd need pretty extensive remolding to be non-firetruck-ish. Grapple's possible, especially if they're willing to do more extensive remolding on a Voyager than on a Deluxe, but it doesn't seem ready-made. A Hot Spot recolor is a lot more likely.

I got out a white LED "tap light" and tried it. Definitely brown under that light, although the red is kinda purply and UV glows seem to be activated in general, so definitely in the "science lesson" realm here.

Hi, I am curious how this inferno is different than the TRU exclusive inferno? Which one would u recommend?

TRU's exclusive Inferno from last year? That was Armada Red Alert in a new color scheme. Or is TRU getting a new redeco of Universe Inferno?

Armada Red Alert was a decent mold, but the 25th Anniversary Inferno is much better.

I like the way the new one looks like an older generation toy, I am thinking about waiting to find it and returning the TRU red alert mold. Except we don't have that mold either, so maybe I should get both. My son can't decide either, he does like the minicon though. We looked on youtube to see what each one looked like. Well thanks for your input.

I'd say keep them both. I had Armada Redalert when he cam out but my x-wife stole him. Now I really want that TRU repaint.

It does look like a fun toy with cool gimmicks, I'll think about it.
