I had recently went out and bought my favorite TF ever off of ebay. I was lucky enough to win myself a complete G1 whirl in mint condition (stickers have yet to be applied icon-fire.gif). Anyhoo upon my disappointment I found out his arms much like many G1 Whirl's is very loose. Not that I care, for he will never see any action. But I was wondering if anyone knew a way to tighten up the ball joints in his arms. I know of the super glue trick but i have heard mixed reviews of this method. And considering i paided a fair bit for Whirl I would hate to ruin him. Anyone know of any other way?

I've never actually owned G1 Whirl, so grain of salt. BUT, I've had plenty of TFs with ball joints. The best and most effective method I've used to tighten these joints is clear nail polish. It increases the size of the ball without damaging anything. One or two coats (with sufficient drying times) does wonders. Only on the ball part of the joint, of course.

You can get shiny or matte finish too, depending on what you want the toy to have.
