I've been getting an error page in firefox in about 40% of page views, 30% show up with
the correct background but then streams and streams of code, and then the other 30%
shows up fine, but missing some images...

What's going on?

I would first try to reinstall firefox.

I would first try doing CTRL+F5. I've gotten this error a couple times at another site and that seems effective at clearing it. In each case it looks like an issue of communication not occurring correctly and/or terminating prematurely. If a hard refresh will fix it, I wouldn't go as far as reinstalling the browser. Clearing the cache every so often probably wouldn't hurt, though. icon-hotrod.gif
