I've been working on this gestalt between other projects. He's about 80% complete. Ran into some major difficulties with connections and weight issues. Figured I'd drop some pics here to get some opinions and / or feedback

Here's the head sculpt. I used a supreme ss head (casted by sculpt-bot) which originally was solid.
I hollowed it out and carved the eyes even larger to give him a more friendly look. There are LEDs on the inside of this head, and a small switch on it's back. Translucent paint will be added on the front of the eyes, once I decide whether to paint them red or blue.


I have some authentic G1 Defensor shields on their way to me in the mail...I will build his chest shield using those as a starting base.

he looks good save for the tape holding his chest together. Whats your plain to strengthen those pegs up?

The tape isn't holding much together, just a small gap, which will be otherwise covered by the chest plate (adding soon)
The joints are super strong now, been on this the entire day....

he looks kind of small on the shoulder area. anyway you can make his shoulders more broader? anyplans of adding thoes cool blue sections on the sides of his head?

I've gotten feedback that he looks too wide on the shoulders. I think from the proper perspective, the shoulder are good they way they are. Any further out and kibble would be needed to fill in the gaps between the arms and chest.

What "blue things" are you talking about?

My guess is the box formed by Hot Spot's ladder carriage, where G1 Defensor had his head. Present in the toy, not in the animation model, AFAIK.

I was thinking he meant that also. In the newer more completed stage, he has his ladder behind the head and along the length of his back.
