I promise to have better pics as the project progresses.Roadbuster is by far my second favorite character so I was stoked when we found out about the Target exclusive. As far as the toy itself I don't have it yet but looking at pics I can honestly say that this is one of the best mold choices for Roadbuster. The only real flaw was the headsculpt, but that problem has been solved.
Picked this fig up on ebay for five bucks and some change. It's a small 1/72 mugen caliber figure that I have seen on many occasions go for cheap. You basically ruin the original head with this swap but I was able to get mine off in one piece. It also fits nicely in vehicle mode. I pan to attach an antenna to the "backpack" as well.
Weapons are modded originals. I just cut the center pegs out of the launcher, and I cut the stock down on the rifle and sanded the grip. the gun will fit nicely in the cyberkey storage slot with the help of a drill.
I'm thinking about trying to have these parts reproed if the desire is there, the head and the rifle at the very least. Not sure about the launcher. Ill post more pics after paint the head and I get my Roadbuster in the mail.
