Out Wednesday, September 10, 2008.
Well, now we know where the female Starscream came from. That little tiny part of him that felt pretty after the make-over...

Both stories were great and a whole lot of fun. I really need a scan of U of M Bumblebee for an avatar

I swear, if they ever have the Wraith on the show, they need either Kevin Conroy or Michael Dorn as the VA.
And yes, I know his presence in the show itself is doubtful, but either of them would be perfect.

This issue was so much FUN to read!
I laughed my ass off at the Starscream stuff.
Love how it retains the same feel as the show.

Yeah- that sounds good.
I'd LOVE to see the Wraith on the show.
And the backup was AWESOME. I was laughing so hard.
The best part about this comic, I think, is that it's written by the head writer of the series. Mainly because the character dialogue, situations, and interactions are like the best parts of the cartoon.
I mean, Prof. Princess' appearance was totally unexpected and AWESOME. And Starscream's reactions... well, I LOVED that reaction panel Marcelo Matere drew when he sees Prof. Princess' blackmail material.

I really enjoyed both stories, it was a really fun read all the way through.
Would that have been Professor Princess' first interaction that we know of with a Transformer? "Sound and Fury" was a bit into S1, unless Starscream was knocked out for a really long time.
After AHM2, I was pretty much down on the recent Transformer comics in general, nice to see Marty can write up a really good comic in addition to putting out a good show.
Next issue, Oil Slick, woo!

Very fun, very enjoyable read. Matere's art was excellent; he's got the style down.

It IS written by Marty Isenberg, the head writer of the series.

Living in Ann Arbor means that I especially had fun with this. I was laughing so much. I think I need to show this one to my friends who aren't into TFs.

I think they need to make repro labels for this:

Perhaps a Michigan State redeco for Bulkhead as well?

I live in Jackson, which isn't too far from Ann Arbor, so it totally made my day seeing U of M

I have not truly, unreservedly enjoyed a TF comic in so, so long.
And then Animated #2 came along, and I was filled with happiness.
Now... what's with this "4 issues" horse#@%^? That steaming pile AHM gets twelve issues, but we only get FOUR of Animated? Ex-damn-scuse me?

do not douubt that mans POWER. lol actually i think after this issue i've stopped using glow effects, in my defence the technique looks better in actual animation then it does in comic book land
