Verrrry nice.
Observations (spoilerfull):
#1 - Hurrah for TF animated's cybertronian. (Although there appears to be 3 fonts there, an angular one, a more curved one, and what looks like russian or greek)
#2 - Ultra Magnus may be able to deal with it, but he doesn't belive.
#3 - Sentinel Prime isn't part of the Elite Guard at this point, very curious.
#4 - Looking into Sentinel's head, I almost feel sorry for him.
#5 - Is Magnus that oblivious to how his Primes feel about one another?
#6 - Longarm Prime is polite to the extreme, he calls Sentinel "Sir" despite being the same rank.
#7 - Here it looks more like Blitzwing "morphs" from one face to another than rotates.
#8 - page 8, is Lugnut just bending over, or is that his cybertronian alt-mode?
#9 - Location name resuses, hurrah!
#10 - last page, laziest insignia placement ever on Blackarachnia.

Oh my, that was fun. A little cluttered but fun.
Sentinel prime eulogizing Optimus Prime's team was awesome, especially his thoughts while doing it.
I dunno, a caption box said Sentinel was second in command of the Elite Guard, yet he isn't drawn with an EG symbol. Weird, might just be an error.

Man, Sentinel is an even bigger dick than I ever imagined.
The comic was not what I was expecting, but surprised me in a good way. Great to see what all the characters were thinking during the episodes of the series, even if the action isn't anything we hadn't seen before (at least most of it, anyway).
Great how it fills in a few logic gaps, like why Blackarachnia was shown working with the Decepticons at the beginning of the series and is now all of a sudden a total freelancer.
I imagine the book is completely unreadible to anybody who hasn't seen the cartoon, though.

Alright well. I got part of an answer from Spengler. That being if its worth buying if i havent followed the animated series.
Over all those was the read enjoyable and not to kiddy? or did it feel like a johnny DC title?

It wasn't especially kidified and read about as maturely as any of IDW's other Transformers books (sans, you know, swearing and death, etc). It certainly didn't feel "dumbed down" to appeal to a younger audience, by any means.
Covering the first three episodes the way it did (while incorporating elements from future episodes), if it WAS aimed at children, they'd have to have paid very good attention to every episode inthe series and remember them fairly vividly.
I really don't think it's geared so much for children, but a sharp audience of any age, really.

It was worth it for Sentinel's inner monologue alone.

Agreed, that was the most entertaining sequence in a TF comic for some time. "They will be remembered."
As losers. Pretty not accessible to anyone who hasn't seen the show and it kinda jumped around alot, but I was impressed overall.

Marty does wonders, alright. FINALLY art to put to the script I received weeks ago.

And Spengs has a point on it not being "kiddified" for the kids nor mature-like in IDW's current run - it's like a good balance in the young-mid teen range, if you will.

I enjoyed it, Sentinel's eulogy was great. What a fat jerk. But did anyone else feel that in the conversation with Longarm it should have been Ultra Magnus, not Sentinel, speaking there. Am I just barmy? I always thought that he and Optimus had never seen any war either.
I like Bulkhead's panel where he's appreciating some modern art.

As a standalone piece, it doesn't work, but if you've seen the show it's a great companion. Fills in a lot of gaps, too.

I just figured Sentinel was enough of a jerk that, being part of the Elite Guard, he'd associate himself with all the successes and hardships of the previous generation of Elite Guard Autobots who *did* fight and suffer in the war. That he *personally* didn't experience those is just a minor details that a youngster like Longarm doesn't deserve to know

Yeah, Sentinel had never seen a Decepticon (according to "Mission Accomplished")

You know when you put it like that, I can totally believe it. He really is such a massive jerk!

I like this comic its cool. The art looked a little bit rushed though on some pannels. It was good!

Here I assumed the writer completely forgot that Sentinel, himself, is more or less still a youngbot.
