After fooling around with that Jazz that hxcpunk23 did first I got the itch to do more. And seeing as I don't really care about Sunstreaker as anything more than Sideswipe's brother I decided to hack him up and paint him up into a character I actually liked.
So yay, Wheeljack time! The mouth will probably get some more work as well as more paint apps. The ears were replaced with styrene that still fold up during transformation.

That mold's turning out to be pretty versatile. Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Punch/Counterpunch, now Wheeljack. Outstanding.

I was just thinking of the possibility of just this project today. A bit surprised you didnt try to mod Cyb Downshift's head since it already has the retractable ears.

I'm not a big fan of that head mold. The ear are pretty damn small as well. Better to just make my own.

I think you did an amazing job on this one! This is probably one of the best, if not THE best Wheeljack I've seen so far from this mold! I will gladly say that I'll now become the thief and steal your idea on this one at some point in the near future. lol

Keep up the great work and let us see that alternate mode once you finish it up (I'd like to give it a go and even use some styrene to try and create a more Lancia-style car from it). It's do-able, but it'll take a bit of work.

Initially hearing about this, I would have been skeptical about him sharing a body with Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, but this is actually pretty sharp.

I prefer the reverse mode!

Sunstreaker style is so much more accurate, though.

Now if you can only find away to got give BFGs on both shoulders.

Well, there's a mounting hole on both sides for Sideswipe's cannon already...

don't think the awesomeness of this lets you off the hook for my animated Jetstorm and Jetfire customs lol

but it is awesome...

and you're 100% right about the ears on both the available 'homage heads'

Wow, I'm really liking this. I love what you've done to the head. I only have one query how did you successfully get him all white. I find that to be intimidating for me to try.
