Airs 6/5 in the UK, 6/21 in Canada, 6/28 in the US.

Left alone in the base, Sari must fend off an intrusion by the Constructicons.

damn this ep was bad, i didnt enjoy it at all, not one bit, the jokes seemed forced, some of the animation looked extremly shoddy (and before anyone comments on it always being shoddy, it was worse than usual) and lastly was it just me or was something a bit odd about the colours in this episode ?

and one more question, anyone know if were getting another new ep tomorow?

SOUNDS KILLER
(did

omega supreme show up?)
The Ambassador
Nope.

Eh, wasn't a great episode, but wasn't that bad. The animation wasn't the best, but Sari pulling a "Home Alone" on the Constructicons was amusing enough. I do wonder when they'll repaint themselves, or at least don a 'Con symbol.
Nutjob R/T
A torrent is up.

But, reading the reactions so far, perhaps I should say 'Torment is up'?
Razorsaw
I thought the episode was hilarious.

Seriously? Negative comments?
Did we watch the same ep?

I LOVED this one!

I found it funny, thought the animation was great, and was glad to see a lasting effect in what would otherwise be a one-off ep.

The scene with Bulkhead and Prowl fighting Blitzwing while Bumblebee communicated with Sari was one of the funniest scenes in the show - especially Prowl's scream when he got tossed.

I felt that Sari's ability to face off with two TFs made sense, giving that they weren't really trying to kill her for the most part - at least not until the end, but by that time she had all the equipment to use against them.

I was very happy that we got to see a Decepticon as a serious threat. Yeah, he didn't trounce them right away, but that was mostly due to his insanity. Ratchet would've been absolutely screwed if Megs hadn't called off BW. It goes to show you why Megs doesn't really care about the Autobots -- killing them is something he can do at any time. Getting the Constructicons so he can finish the project is a priority.

The end, with the Constructicons follow BW... that was a really sad moment. Remember kids: Substance dependence is bad, m'kay?
Skunkobot
Other things that were great:

Bulkhead's "Called it" line.

The I *heart* [autobrand] sticker.

Sari talking to the teddy bear.

Bumblebee "bleeding" all over the place, although you'd think it would be of a higher concern to both him and Ratchet to get that fixed, though Bulkhead's response was great.

Ratchet getting pushed back by the two trucks despite catching them with his magnetic powers.

The fact that Ratchet didn't put down Bumblebee before he started running with everyone else to find the Constructicons.

The fact that every Autobot was in this, and that they all got at least one or two fun in character bits.

The way Bulkhead didn't even bother to move out of the way until Prowl pushed him as BW was dive bombing them... Getting hit was foregone conclusion.

How is this episode bad? You people are nuts!
Might Gaine
The episode was just a goofy Home Alone spoof. Meh.

ok i'll admit i did find bee and saris conversation was funny, bt the rest of it barely raised a smile,

on another note, the construction worker in "not mixmaster", is credited as sparkplug....this = awesome

Sweet episode, at least for the return of the Constructicons. Does anyone know if we are getting any more Constructicons? I liked Blitzwing's comment at the end of "There's more where that came from" making me wonder if that's a hint to the audience about the Constructicons... I'd certainly love to see Devastator in the next season!

All "Home Alone" spoof's aside, this was an enjoyable episode and Blitzwing definitely proved to be a tough advesary to the Autobots. Can't wait to see the last two episodes!

Just saw this at the usual fan place. I'm glad to see that that Mix and Scrap are begining to have more differentiated personalities, which people complained about in the last ep. Most of what else I could say good about this ep has already been said.
Master Fwiffo
One of the weakest episodes. Not outright bad like Headmaster, but nothing great in it at all. Even the Animation was sloppy (Who called it good? What's wrong with your eyes?)

Constructicons had a couple good lines, but overall, this is probably number 2 on the bottom TF Animated Episodes.
Col. Jupiter
I also liked this episode, and don't see the reason for the hate. Sari's reaction to the threat was refreshing: her first impulse is to scream, run and hide, until she realizes help isn't forthcoming. Only then does she go into action, and uses the equipment that almost trounced the Autobots in "Home Is Where The Spark Is", which was a nice touch.

Blitzwing had a lot of great scenes as well, although my favorite was his arguing with himself; Icy lost the vote two-to-three, so he ignored Megs and attacked. If I recall correctly, this is the first time he's actually made a decision this way.

All in all, a solid episode.

Yet again the Constructicons provide a poor episode; though its is much more watchable then their first episode. Still feel bad that they ONCE AGAIN get hell for no good reason then very biased little girl gettign scared and foricing them into the hands of the Decepticons. Yes, way to go Sari. Maybe Megatron can use you for further recruitment drives. Gotta really love how no one gives them a fair chance. icon-primal.gif It really feels like the writers are preventign them from being good becuase they are constructicons. With the Autobots being bungholes to them last time, and Sari beign a little brat to them this time.

Even Blitzwing, who I totally love, felt weak this week; But at least he provided a real challenge for the Autobots and Megatron is using him for more then grunt work.
Strafe
Yeah, I shouldn't let the haters influence my opinion before I see an episode, because what we got was far more entertaining than I was expecting. Blitzwing had a strong showing, and made quite a menace in their brief skirmish. The voiding their warranties bit left me sufficiently tickled. For an episode where not much happened and little plot was advanced, I sure felt satisfied by the end.
But yeah, bring on the season finale. Much love to the UK'ers who so quickly made this week's episodes accessible for the salivating masses to gorge themselves on. Gonna be a long and difficult wait for Season 3.
Knight in Rusty Armor
yeah the blitz vs everyone fight was great.
this one also showed bulkhead learning,

I liked this episode. Of course, I've liked every episode of this series so far, so that's nothing new.

Out of curiousity, Master Fwiffo, why didn't you like Headmaster? Sure, the title villain was annoying, but he was supposed to be. His character was basically to personify every annoying internet twit ever.

Headmaster was a one note villian on his own - I probably would have appreciated him more if he had the screen time of Princess or Headmaster.

But he wasn't the problem with the episode to me. Bulkhead being clumsy does not a good story make (it was also my complaint with the first Dinobots episode). Bulkhead being clumsy without a head makes a really, really bad story. I can take quite a bit with my TF's, but the head antics were waaaaay too much.
The Muse
Anyone catch what Blitz said after he was ordered off torturing Ratchet by Megatron? Something to the effect of "Sieg Heil"?

finally saw it.
i feel like there was a better episode hiding in this one. it felt really slow paced for some reason and the jokes were kind of flat (even used cliche #2343: "we're not going to hurt you...much"). just boring, not really special. but it was good to see those constructicon bozos again, i LOVE those guys.

also, just remembered:
why is bumblebee cutting his wrists now?

Yeah, that leaky thing never *did* go anywhere, did it.

Not a bad one, nor a good one, just in the middle. Of course, I did like the Home Alone homages of the kid outwitting two larger guys. icon-hotrod.gif

Yeah, that leaky thing never *did* go anywhere, did it.

it did lead the cons to the base. for a moment i was wondering if bumblebee was planning something with that, but it turned out just to be him being dumb again. to think, if bulkhead HADN'T patched the leak, the trail would've gone two ways, so maybe one con would go one way and the other the other way, so then they'd end up on different sides. yeah, that'd be interesting...

this had so much cartoon logic though. if prime didn't mind that sari had scared the constructicons off and ruined their chances of getting them on their side, what was he trying to accomplish earlier? where they just off to destroy them or something? and the entire thing with sari thinking she's a match for giant robots, which goes out of "childlike" and into "delusional" territory.
Thylacine2000

Dull. I didn't HATE it, but it didn't have the humor or taut storytelling of practically any other Animated episode. This and "Velocity" are the series' weakpoints: both of those episodes feel like there's about an extra 6 minutes of chasing and hiding added in just as filler, with cliched dialogue and very, very straightforward predictable plots.

I really liked Bulkhead and Blitzwing in this. The rest was just meh.
Sso02V
I only hope that Reprolabels makes an "I heart autobots" bumper sticker to slap on BB's door/arm.

I don't get what people mean by 'bad animation'. This reminds me how for a while everyone bitched about the cover art on the IDW Spot Light Covers. And like Beamer said, all those who keep complaining have their heads up there butts too much. I know that more than likely 80% of the members here can't draw stick figures correctly. Has anyone here even TRIED to animate? It's very, very, very, very hard. I'd like to see someone try it. So please, no more 'This episode could have had better animation.' You can complain about dialogue cause there is such things like that that can be fixed and plot. But the animation is always good. Look at at cartoons from 1940s and compare that to this. THEN you can complain. But I just don't think it's fair comparing episode to episode on art work. *Gets off Soap Box*

But besides that, I love Scrapper. ;D
son of unicron
i thought he animated was decent. i didnt see any real problems there.

Skunkobot
The one part that stands out in my mind as being well animated was Bulkhead being hit by Blitzwing all the way to his "Called it" line.
Thylacine2000

Was Bumblebee supposed to be acting ditzy and weird because of loss of oil? A lot of his dialogue and expressions just seemed "off" and I'm not sure if it had an in-story reason or not.

Speaking of his oil, damn if it wasn't off-putting to see him standing there gushing it out of an open wound. And then for the Constructicons to DRINK it!
It's Walky!
I *knew* there was a reason Mixmaster sounds just like Joe Pesci...
Kalidor
What an awful episode. Well at least we know Sparkplug didn't get eaten by Ravage.
Robert McSantos
I think it's funny how the Autobots only seem to be able to recruit the guys that the Decepticons don't want, namely the Dinobots and Wreck-Gar. Both factions seem pretty apathetic towards Earthborn Transformers, but the Decepticons managed to recruit Soundwave and the Constructicons with a minimal amount of effort.
crazyjw18
It wasn't an epic episode, but it was far from bad. I found Sari entertaining, and I always enjoy Mixmaster and Scrapper's interaction. Add in Blitzwing easily trouncing all 5 Autobots, Bulkhead freaking OUT over a dripping leak, and Bumblebee being tossed about, and you have good entertainment.

If this is "bad" for Animated, then it just shows how amazingly solid most episodes are.

while i don't agree the animation was bad (i liked it), your argument doesn't have any legs. to follow that logic, i shouldn't be able to complain that a particular car sucks, because I can't make my own car. I should never be able to complain a movie is poorly written, because i can't write a movie. (oh wait, i can. but that's besides the point)

Good dialogue is no easier to do than good animation - take a good animator who can't write worth a hug and ask him to write some dialogue. Ask a good writer who can't draw a straight line with a ruler to animate. You'll get crap.

i don't see why you're holding art up as this magical thing that no one understands, and that you have to be an artist before it's fair to compare episode to episode art.

It is almost never unfair to compare things. that's what we do. Different teams animate different episodes. You can definitely tell when one team does one, and another does another. Look at G1 - Call of the Primitives had MUCH better animation than, say, Carnage in C-Minor. different teams, different budgets - this all comes into play. it is very fair to be able to look at two different pieces and say you like one more than the other. And to a talented team of artists, animation is not magic. It's something they're very skilled at, and they do it well.

nothing personal, i'm not flaming you or anything, i just completely disagreed with ya, and wasn't too lazy to say something icon-hotrod.gif
