Galenraff and I just stopped at the first TRU we came across and found a ton of Animated toys just sitting there. The employee there said they were working with Hasbro to get still more on the shelves.
The scalpers haven't won. Keep looking!

While I'm really glad that you guys now have access to the toys without having to deal with the scalpers, this does anger me somewhat. Hasbro is going to the trouble of making sure that the toys are in Cincy for the convention but still doesn't have even the preview wave out for the rest of us? Not cool in my book.

At any rate, do your fellow fans there a favor and keep them from buying toys from the scalpers if at all possible. Maybe schedule group trips to the local TRUs and Walmarts?

There's no preview "wave", per se-- just Megatron vs. Prime.

How far are some of these stores from the convention? Walking distance?

If Hasbro keeps pumping them in to the market at good enough rate they will be able to out pace scalpers
