Haha... I love Grimlock even more for whacking Sentinel down... too bad Magnus stopped the Dinobots' fun too soon. Sentinel's cocky attitude seems to be getting him into a lot more trouble on Earth and I love it - falling off an unfinished road, getting pushed around by Grimlock.
Best line so far - "Robots... Why did it have to be robots?"

Poor Sari... that was quite an ending!
Also, what will the Elite guard do now? Are they staying on Earth or will they be going back home now that they know what (may have) happened to the Allspark? I hope they stick around, at least Jazz! Gotta love his nunchuck ninja styles! I think Phil Lamarr does a great job as Jazz!

Jazz is awesome. He's so much like G1 Jazz it's awesome. The way he seems above the pettyness a lot of Autobots display (in G1 and Animated) is very much like the original too.
Ultra Magnus is great. The voice is perfect. I love his vehicle mode too. And the way that Bumblebee said that him and Sentinel Prime wouldn't blend in.
My favorite part was Sentinel Prime crashing through roadblocks only to drive off the end of a highway.

Him picking a snow plow truck is also befitting based on the weather lately.

I like Jazz. Sentinel's a jerk. Magnus is cool. I want toys. NOW. We know who Pink Glasses is now. Yay. Megatron is suitably evil. Heh at Lugnut using his arm as a club.
I'd like to know if the Elite Guard stays on Earth or not. Guess we'll find out in two weeks.

Porter Powell was chairman of the board at Sumdac Systems while at the same time helping out Sumdac's chief rival Prometheus Black. Okay, that's DEFINITELY going to turn out to matter....
Says a lot about this series that the dramatic cliffhanger can be about the kid and be totally emotionally effective. We've come a long way since Armada. Not even adoption papers, eh?
I almost want a Sentinel Prime toy *less* because he's such a bastard. But I'm sure I'll get it anyway.

Fall before the might of Cyber Mjolner! Love Thor Magnus! I'm seeing Jazz and Prowl being fast friends. And Sentinel is so gonna get his come uppence soon. Interesting that Prime is ranked lower than Ultra in this continuity. And the shocker we've heard about. Sari doesn't exist! At least not in the paper work sense.

damn enjoyable ep. jazz was just perfectly jazz..with some ninja thrown in. Magnus is all business but doesn't seem like a total ass because of it, and sentinels just a jackass.
nice to see prime stand up for himself at the end. the dinobots appearance was welcome as well. and damn if they didn't throw in a curveball like that at the end. It figures theres no new episode next week.

Still squealing. Oh, don't think I've ever squealed this much!
I loved all the times that Sentinal's cocky attitude got him in trouble. I reeeaaallly loved Grimlock kicking his butt, yay puppies! And I guess this proves that the fight did take place on Dinobot island.
Jazz was awesome. His first reaction to Sari was hilarious how he freaked out. But then when he calmed down his statement about them all having their own style was cool. His fighting style was just awesome. Plus he was of good enough character to make Sentinal stop harassing prime and crew. Squeal.
Magnus is cold, but at least he isn't completely unreasonable. He did call Sentinal on his bad attitude at the end. And yes, my thought was also that he's Thor. No wonder he's the top Bot.
And Sari. Oooooh frag. That is a really horrible thing to learn like that. And that business guy is a jerk. To reveal to a child that she technically does not exist in such a cocky tone is just cruel. Plus that tower is probably also her home. He's just taken everything away from her and I bet he doesn't even care. I wonder how the police (Fanzone) are gonna react to Sari just being dumped out like that.

Definitely a great episode (one of the best). Better than the last two, actually; I found it to carry the tone of the series better than the Megatron episodes.
One reason it was so great is because of how the Elite Guard was portrayed. Excepting Sentinel (of course), I was glad to see that they aren't all total jerk-offs. Especially with Magnus, because he didn't seem to have sensible side in the few bits we've seen him in before. And he's got great presence with that hammer and his display of power. Jazz is a great new cast addition. He's very close to his G1 self, which makes his interaction with this very different Prowl more interesting. I love the replacement of horns with headphones, and his immediate appreciation of his car mode.
I also like how some things have been changed up in this continuity, like "Prime" being a lower rank, and Ultra Magnus having nothing to do with Optimus other than being his boss.
Also, I'm glad for a few tiny things, like Fanzone showing back up ("Robuts. Why did it have to be robuts?") and confirmation that the Ark did crash on the Dinobots' island (maybe Grimlock will wake up Omega?).
Additional appreciation for moving ahead the plot with Sari and finally having PGM show back up and find out what exactly his role will be.

Sentinel Prime is an even bigger jerk than I thought, glad to see he was taken down a peg(or three), loved his smackdown thanks to ol Grimmy, I LOL'd so hard my kids were like WTF?
Ultra Magnus= a Cybertronian version of Thor....neat. Good to see by the end of the episode he noticed Optimus' potential, while at the same time belitteling Sentinel just a smidgeon.
Jazz is awesome, that is all!

I just realized they never did get to the battle site.
Ultra Magnus almost seems like a king.
Jazz is absolutely Jazz, and he was fun to have around. I do hope he sticks around for a while... he certainly seems to like Earth. Once he got over his fear of the icky squishy thing, anyway. (Is most Autobot knowledge of organics based, perhaps, on Sentinel Prime's stories of his misadventure?)
Speaking of the icky squishy thing, I guess now we know one thing about the thing Dad was trying to tell her. (Details! I want details!) Also, I bet Sumdac's machines will cause even more trouble now that the Cybertron tech experts are gone.
Meg's surprisingly reasonable. Most past Megatrons would have tortured Dad for a while (well, actually probably just acted threatening) and then considered what effect the Allspark fragment might have had.

Grimlock knocking Sentinel down with his awesome fire sword was great! Jazz was the best of the trio IMO. Him and Prowl make a great team. Megatron seems to have put himself back together nicely. I loved this episode. I laughed hard when Sentinel fell off the road and when he got pwned by the Dinobots. And, holy slag, Ultra Magnus is Thor in robot form! Awesome! He and Jazz will be mine. Speaking of Jazz, I adore him. It looks like he and Prowl will have a nice dynamic. And props to Magnus for knocking Sentinel down several pegs. I'm curious to know how they're going to react to Sari's key.
Speaking of Sari, the last couple of seconds were just harsh. I can't imagine what it'd be like to find out that legally I didn't exist. I can't wait to see how the Autobots take that. Argh! Why do they have to air Ben 10 next week? I don't think I can wait for two weeks!

Great ep.
Sentinel was WAY more of a jerk than I thought he would be. He didn't just want to belittle his rival, he wanted to have him tried for the highest treason. Of course, Optimus Prime proving himself as a MORE capable leader and gaining the respect of Magnus definitely made up for it.
I thought it was funny how no con signals could be found and everyone thought Prime and Co. were making jive up.
It was nice to see Grimlock. Given his reaction to Optimus, I can assume that some time has passed since Megatron Rising Part II. They've calmed down a lot. I can see them being like a living defense system for the ship. Guarding the bot's ship as part of their island.
Also nice to see that the bots were held accountable for their destruction of the city. It's like back to square one, with the people fearing them.
The Sari bit wasn't a surprise, but it was harsh. She really seemed to care about keeping her dad's company as is. I felt bad for her. Especially when Powell criticized her for using corporate funds to locate her dad.
This Megatron actually has a plan. He's using Sumdac in a very intelligent manner, given his capability for reverse engineering. Too bad they didn't give some sort of visual clue to Megatron doing a download in Megatron Rising II. His makeshift base isn't too bad either. Smart use of the natural resources to mask energy signatures.
The battle was actually interesting, first time Sumdac's police bots seemed like a threat. Jazz and Prowl make an awesome team. Sentinel is useless in battle. Magnus is the almighty Thor. I mean, he kicks all sorts of ass. Especially when his hammer brought a complete thunderstorm instead of just lightning/energy. I wonder if he can control the weather in general.

I'm thinking Senticknal Prime is gonna continue to be a "glitch-head" for a few more episodes, but will eventually come around to respecting Optimus and his crew.
Loved Jazz. The voice was perfect, and it seems like he'll fit right in with our normal cast. He's got Prowl's smooth control and moves along with Bumblebee's love of earth and its culture. I wouldn't even be that suprised to see him stay behind if the rest of the elite gaurd head back to Cybertron.
I also suspect we're gonna see a lot of searching for Allspark shards this season. In a lot of other shows, this would get old real quick, but I have faith in this set of writers.
I'm thinking Prime is a rank somewhere analogous to Captain. "Ultra" may also be a title, probably equal to a General. I'd like to see some more ranks filled in somewhere along the line

Sari seems to have spent a decent amount of time in charge. Esp. with Powell's complaint about using too many funds finding her dad.
Megatron is new again. He also built an entire base.
The dinobots seem to get along fine with Prime now. Two episodes ago, they were ready to fight him on sight.
The damage could have taken months to clean. Like they said, 1/2 of Detroit was smashed and the Autobots conceded that it was a big job even for maintenance bots such as themselves.

Okay there was so much to love about this episode that I can only sumarize, I need to watch it, over again to get some of the nuances.
If Ultra Magnus is Thor, Sentinel Prime is Major Frank Burns, from M*A*S*H*. Jazz is fantasic and aside from the nunchucks, is what the Movie version should have been.
The Decepticons have set up shop in the old mines from "Call of Nature" and Animated Megs is
just as cold bloodedly devious and clever as BW Megs, prefering to keep Issiac Sumdac alive and exploitable.
There are now shards of the Allspark scattered all over Detroit.
Thanks to Sentinel's lying, Magus underestimates both the humans and the role Optimus has been forced into. Watching Optimus and the rest of his crew, Ultra Magmus was smart enough to recongnize how much they had grown, as a team. Last, but certainly not least, Pink Glasses Man, turns out to be the duplicitous head of the Board of Directors for Sumdac Systems, and Sari has no paper trail, period. She does not exist.
