eh so far its not what you think.

"Where did you find room for all that stuff?"

"You don't want to know."

That's what she said.
FortMax
"Do you have anything that ugly back in Cybertron?"

"Yea, but Bulkhead's back at the base."

ZING!
Draange
...construction vehicles. Green construction vehicles. Lime green construction vehicles trapped in a space monster clump. Ooooooh boy, this is gonna be nuts.
FortMax
Is that Megatron's body?
Draange
Ending, fraaaaag, the crazy surprise ending!!!
Apostrophe
I'm suprised I predicted that twist when I first saw the monster's right hand.
Overall I thought it was just an okay episode, I didn't really have a positive or negative reaction to it.
Knight in Rusty Armor
So this sets up for the constructicons to come in the future.

All in all. I laughed at a lot of this episode, And like i just said. Its a set up for future things. So honestly it wasn't that bad. Long as the payoff is good i don't mind these episodes.
gwynn
Terrible worthless episode....except for the ending.
S.A.M.
"Water? But I thought it said FIRE hose!"
Echowarrior
Eh, an okay episode...and probably the only one of the entire run (thus far) where Sari doesn't use her key...though not for lack of trying.

Meanwhile, that bit at the end with Sumdac and that chunk of Cybertronian tech...with a certain insignia...plus next week's episode...hoo boy, now that's foreshadowing!

Esser-Z
Slag. Missed a minute or two because CN aired it early, and CN was having issues.

Still, I enjoyed it. "Barnacle boy!" icon-fire.gif. Megs's torso's been found, heh. I'm sorta meh on this episode, though. I liked it, as always, but it didn't quite fully grab me. Good, but not great.
Rust
Not a bad episode at all.

Focusing more on Prowl and Bumblebee was a good move. After three weeks of Bulkhead, I was ready for a change of pace. Prowl continues to be a great addition to the cast, and I love how his Holodriver has become a standard issue sort of thing. We need TF:A Human toys if only so I can get my Prowl Holodriver.

The Space Barnacle creature was groan inducing, but at the same time I'm glad they took something so silly and actually managed to make it menacing. Especially how a single touch results in infection.

Also interesting was the Key's lack of ability this episode. This is the first time I think we've seen it actually *not* work.

I'd actually call it an enjoyable romp of a diversion if not for the final surprise in the last three minutes. The fact the reason the creature was giving off a Cybertronian signature was because it had MEGATRON'S TORSO inside of it turned it from a fun little distraction episode into a plot advancing one.

This episode was also light in fanwank. Outside the Lime Green Construction vehicles at the start, and the fact Sumdac's truck sported G1 Prime's trailer there was nothing I noticed.

Humorous Moments:

"Where did you find room for all this junk?!"
"...You don't want to know."
(I'm honestly shocked this one got through. icon-fire.gif)

Bumblebee grabbing the Fire Hose and being shocked when it shoots out water.

Prime calling sneezing "Backfiring".
Robogeek1973
All in all a good episode with some really good jokes. icon-fire.gif

So Sumdac's been looking for Megatron's body, VERY interesting. I guess Megs complaining about how low grade Earth tech is led him to searching for his old body....awesome! icon-ironhide.gif
It's Walky!
"Autobots go camping" is a plot concept I've really missed in the past several years. I like these smaller stories, especially when they're handled cleverly. It's so refreshing to get "Autobots go camping" when it's been nothing but "fate of the universe" for forever.

Next on Tf animated

" Unicron eats our smores! Fate of universe in peril!"

awesome. i didnt see megs torso coming. that was nifty.

i was really expecting to see the slime come off the monster and see an unfinished devestator or something. but im sure thats coming later down the line.

MrBlud
One of my favorite episodes.

We got everything I could possibly want. Humor, a well constructed plot, clever use of their bodies/abilities (Prowl's jets and BB's wheels in particular), Zombies, numerous quotable lines (I didn't know Bears had shovels for hands!) the key NOT saving everyone's ass PLUS major plot development.

All in a single episode. Sure it doesn't have the gravitas of "Thrill of the Hunt" but this was the most well rounded episodes we've gotten since Beast Wars IMO. icon-ironhide.gif
RCX
Did anyone see Sparkplug Witwicky at the beginning? Sure, he had Reed Richards white around the ears, but I'd recognize those eyes and that square jaw anywhere. Nice touch, animators!
Draange
I like how they had this fun little episode right before everything goes to hell in a hand basket. It's a classic technique for even the most serious of theatrics to throw in some laughs before/after/during really tense times in order to keep the audience from becoming too uncomfortable.
Esser-Z
Thinking back, I'm liking it more than I first did. Cartoon Network's little glitches bugged me enough to distract me.
Maximo Prime
This series just does not let me down, ever. Great episode!
autoWHAT
great ep for Transformers Zombies alone.

E: forgot to say: This felt like a Teen Titans ep sort of because there were a lot a lot A LOT more animu reactions and animu humor in it than usual. Hm. Hope that doesn't keep up.
Draange
Yes! Zombie transformers, and it was done in an interesting, new way.

And while those construction vehicles may not be the constructicons yet, they probably will get dragged to Sumdac's lab and thus later become the frightening gestalt.
Skullgrin140
Pretty good ep. Lol, great to see Sparkplug in the beginning of the ep and that barnacle monster was nifty...ish. Also good to at last see Megatron's body (not long now)

Overall, Nice ep.
S-Stop! Thief!
Wow, the animation was really Popping in this one.

Also, Sari is awesome with that anime fang. <3

If space barnacles get killed by heat, how do they survive atmospheric entry?
The Ambassador
I admit, this was a pretty funny episode, with Prowl continuing to be a bit of a prick and Bumblebee being a mouthy jerk. His quips alone made the episode, but the horrific zombie monster space barnacle thing was a nice monster, especially with the big reveal at the end. I was expecting Constructicons, we got something better.

"Megatron will be sooo pleased." I just picture Sumdac and Megatron in party hats, with cake, and big smiley faces.

Only problem was the animation, in particular Bumblebee having Huge Anime Mouth Syndrome™. Beyond that, it was a cracking little episode.
Thylacine2000

Also, by this point the Decepticons have already attacked Earth and been filmed by the media doing so. Sumdac still doesn't "get" that symbol on Megatron's chest?

Yeah, that had me scratching my head, too. Especially if hot water is enough to *burn* them off.
I didn't much like this episode, but that's bound to happen eventually after how many solid ones beforehand.

maybe they've got shells like real ones, but the ones on Megatron's body were opened up in order to absorb the body.

Does he know for certain that's Megatron's chest?

I could see Megatron lying his way out of it.
The Dude Abides
Of all the days to actually wake up early and watch the show on time, this was the one I picked? Plot wasn't terrible but the space barnacles were awful. They could've worked Sumdac finding the torso in easily enough elsewhere to justify this entire episode of filler. I guess it wasn't that bad, but my expectations have risen to an unfair level as of late
Starscreams Wife
Wait. I thought Sumdac found Megatron as a whole piece in the first episode. Hence the technology boost in the future. Unless that's not Megatron's body at the end...

Fun episode! Just lots of Bee and Prowl joy. Sari was awesome too. And Sparkplug got eaten. Cool.

If he found Megatron as a whole piece then why would Megatron want a new body? The whole point since episode 1 is that he has no body now.

If Sumdac had his body he'd tell Megatron since he doesn't know he is a Decepticon.

Though he has one of his hands.
Razorsaw
But all we ever see him stumbling onto was a HEAD. And by extrapolation, an arm.
Master Fwiffo
Not the best episode, but by no means the worst. Ranks a little below Total Meltdown, if you ask me. Certainly, nowhere near as bad as I found Headmaster. Sure, the barnacles are silly, but they pulled a fun zombie episode out of it, so it's all good.

Plus, next week, MEGATRON.
Nightblade
A pretty fun episode, I was glad the key didn't work for once. I did think that it was strange that Megatron's body was there, wasn't it still with his head when Proffesor Sumdac found him ?

Meh, the animators just drew that symbol on there so the kids at home would recognize that it's Megatron's body. The symbols really don't seem to play any significance anymore other than to act as fancy copyright symbols for the toys.

I thought he dissected him for further study. And the only pieces that were left over, or he thought he'de keep in tact some what, was the head and hand. Looks to like like Sumdac uses the hand as a chair just for thrills.
