I'm doing a repaint of Runamuck from Cybertron, and I want to tint his windows blue. I don't like to say things can't be done, but I don't see a way to take a window that's already tinted red and make it blue. I could make it purple... orange... but blue? Is that possible?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on how good that clear is you may e able after several coats to get itto a Purplishblue. Other than that I could only think of replacing the windows/parts with say the clear ones from the Armada figure then paint them blue.

Wow, this thread got lost to me for awhile!
Only problem is - A-Sideswipe's windows aren't clear, they're orangeish.

I'm no expert, but hey. If you still want the window to be clear, short of finding replacement windows, the best thing I can think of is to paint both on top and under the window with an opaque blue paint. At best it'll probably just give you a blue tint. Isn't there also a method of boiling the plastic to tint it? Though that method is kinda risky, I'd think.

I think doing both inside and outside will give it a purple that leans towards blue, and that is acceptable! Thanks for the tip!!

One of the best ways to tint clear parts is to use future floor polish, and mix it with food coloring. You can get superb results.
