On topic.. Cool ep so far.

Was that a new opening? I don't know if I'm imagining things, but, I could have sworn I saw Arcee briefly, as well as a red Bumblebee (Perhaps Cliffjumper? Or did I see Ratchet out of context?)

When Starscream showed up, I said, "Oh dang, he's back!" Perfect way to bring a villain back! Lugnut is almost like G1 Soundwave, since G1 Soundwave was extremely loyal to Megatron. I'm not sure what to make of Blitzwing though.

So, a lot of lingering questions were answered in this episode.

Where the Allspark is, the status of the ship, Starscream...

I think my favorite part was when the Allspark explained to Sari why things were getting dangerous. The manifestation of Megatron did more then repeat warnings ever could.

Wow. More fodder for the "Arc is Omega Supreme" camp. Ratchet talking to the ship, former milatary ship, colors look closer then in premier, and the turrent looks like his head.

Also, maybe this will Shut Hornet up on his comments of starscream and the missing allspark being plot holes.

Also Sari gets a vision of the future, which seems to have finally cooled her down to key use.

Great ep all around. About the only fanwanky thing this week was the G1-esque clothes the construction worker was wearing.

Also: Why is the Allspark creating holographic images of Megatron?

That was an awesome episode. I love lugnut even more now!

"Megatron, I shall complete your destiny!"

I love how, to everyone else, Lugnut is just hearing voices like some kind of crazy street corner doom prophet.

Pretty much. It was a portent that things are about to get REALLY bad.

Did anyone notice that they introduced a new character model for Megatron today? Instead of being a static background painting, he's now a fully-realized animation model. Also, it really, REALLY looked like more of his head was missing, in the back, as if Dr. Sumdac had been tinkering again.

Blitzwing has the potential to be a pretty compelling character. The "Ice" head's introspective bits of dialogue were really interesting-- "Whose side are you on?" was really well delivered. I'm glad Bumper Robinson has range beyond the spastic Bumblebee.

But I've got to say. The episodes that didn't feature Megatron's crew of Decepticons (see: Razorsaw's signature) as heavies have been the best of the series. The episodes where we get 'Con action... seem obligatory, I guess.

That wasn't a vision of the future. The Allspark obviously knows Megatron's still around (It's energies reactivating him) and that he wants the Key. The full body hologram was of Megatron's Cybertronian mode.



Because she was acting irrationally on why the Autobots might have to leave, and the fact she keeps ignoring their warnings about not using the Key.

If Soundwave didn't give her a clue, then it stands to reason nothing short of Megatron himself would get her to wise up.

Good story-arc moving episode.

Lugnut was less dumb than I expected. Between him and Blitzwing HE'S actually the brains 2/3s of the time. Only Monacle-blitz is smart or sane enough to match him. Lugnut is more singleminded and devoted than actualy stupid which made him a deeper more interesting character than I expected..

He's much more like G1 Shockwave from the toon than like G1 Soundwave.

Also, I LOVED the cameo by the Spike and Sparkplug outfits in the construction site at the begining.

And the Arc is DEFINATELY Omega Supreme. Look at those colors and that turret. It HAS to be and I hope he rocks and we BETTER get a giant toy.

I had not heard these theories of the ark being Omega Supreme, but after today's episode it definitely looks feasible. Blitzwing managed to meet my expectations for how fun I was expecting the character to be from his antics in the pilot and "Thrill of the Hunt" I was afraid I had built him up to be awesome only to be disappointed. Lugnut was more intelligent than I expected too

I did enjoy Blitzwing's bickering with himself over alt mode and then Crazy Head goes "Why not scan them both?"

That was pretty great. I loved both the 'cons, and 'screamer's return.

There's your explicit explanation for them not leaving, too.

And Prime had his "trailer" again. Briefly.

A few people commented on the idea back durrign the premier moive, when Optimus tried to activate "Code: Omega" or somesort, but was denied. This only adds more to the idea that Omega Supreme is their ship, but has had his systems limited when he was 'downgraded' to a matinence ship. I've heard rumors that OS is coward, forget where I heard that from, which might be a factor of why he;s in his current sitcuation. Seems fitting since Op and maybe Ratchet also seem blacklisted as well. Makes me wonders what the other's have done.

Probably my favorite moment in the episode. While they certainly didn't explore any of the mechanics behind triple-changing, Blitzwing's schizophrenia is as good an explanation as any!

I too was surprised with how much I liked Lugnut. There's more to him than we'd been lead to believe, I guess.

Ark=Omega Supreme is a great idea, and this episode seemed to all but confirm it. I really thought, once the transformation sound effect started, that they were going to show his bot mode, but I'm glad they didn't. It would be premature to whip out a big gun like that so early in the show. Here's hoping that his toy is able to interact with the scout-sized toys (actionsomethings?).

I hope the "key= do not use frivolously" message has been nailed into Sari's head finally. I'm pretty sure anyone who's been watching the show fairly consistently would get the point now.

And I'm so, so glad to finally have stuff from the pilot reappear: the Allspark, the Ark, Starscream, other decepticons...as someone else said, this episode really helped move the overarcing plot forward.

yeah, if Sari continues abusing the key after this, I'm going to start getting irritated. I can take a couple lapses in judgement, like repairing Soundwave in a fit of frustration, but it's getting dangerously close to becoming the same message of the day every single time.

It wasn't his Earth form, no. But to me it looked like "Megahead + Key = Megatron's Return"

Egads...I think your onto somethin. I feel so silly I didn't make any connection while watching it this morning, but I was thrown off by his obvious show of personality. (hee)

Well it sure worked on me! Lol! I was like "what the? Run for your life Sari!" Lol!

Yeah, Toon Shockwave was always short in that area. And I think that when we finally see Shockwave himself in Animated, he'll be the cold, calculating, logic-serving Shockwave. Nice to see a character displaying traits of toonwave, though. That version of the character has been all but swept under the rug in recent years.

this episode rawked. i mean i was on the edge of my seat at every moment.

Ok, say the Ark is OS. (which i think it is). Say they come out with a nice big toy for it (which i hope).

I think it'd be cool if, like Darth Vader Death Star, the toy came with teensy tiny renditions of the Autobots.

The precedent is there. I would totally buy a Supreme sized Omega that came with five tiny friends (well 4 tiny and 1 merely little - bulkhead )

Omegark will probably be the line's Supreme toy. And Maybe come with a little electronic Allspark.

Another awesome episode. I didn't think I'd like Blitzwing and Lugnut at all from the premiere, but they were fantastic. All of the Decepticons are!

I liked how BW and LN mentioned Oilslick and Lugnut's general distaste for him. I love how powerful these Decepticons are. That ship definitely looked like Omega Supreme, and Ratchet continues to be awesome. I loved Sari's face at the end of the episode.

I like how this episode tied things up.

Megatron won't trust Blitzwing because of Starscream's betrayal.
Screamer shows up seeking to rule the cons.

They keep reminding us of Screamer's betrayal. In the 3 parter, in the ep when Megatron awakens, and several times over in this episode.

I imagine the confrontation between Megs and Screamer will be epic.

Yeah, I like it how Megatron is generally distrusting of his own troops because of Starscream. He's smarter than any other Megatron before him.

Well, because of kid craziness this morning I wasn't fully able to pay attention to what was going on, but that's why I tape them anyway.


But what I did get to see, I loved! Lugnut seems MUCH smarter than Id've given him credit for, which is a good thing. And it was cool seeing him toss Bulkhead as easily as he did, Hulk vs Thing indeed.

It's great seeing Decepticons that are an actual threat to the Autobots, it can only get worse for the bots from here on out.

Starscream is so SLICK. Holy crap. That was awesome. Awesome fighting too. One of the things I love about TFA so much is that it's not just fighting by running into each other or a few 'phew pews' from their guns back and forth at each other.
LOVE Blitzwing. Lugnut is so wonderfully creepy.

I wonder if Starscream has been gathering the other Decepticons to him in much the same manner as he has here.

Wouldn't be surprised to learn Lockdown's under his wing.

That would definitely explain what he's been up to.

Yeah. Would make a LOT of sense.

I can see him having Lockdown working for him with the promise of eventual upgrades once the Allspark is his.

After all, Lockdown's stranded as is.

Another comment - the Allspark's starting to remind me of the Oracle/Vector Sigma and the Creation Matrix - it has a mind of its own.

Makes me wonder - if the Decepticons got it, could we perhaps get a Creation Matrix type story, where it wants more experience of evil?

Lockdown's gotta be in on it somehow. Otherwise I don't think Blitz and Lugnut would have brought him up in the being. Great way to bring him back into the story line.

Edit- I just thought of something that ads to the Omega Supreme theory. Sair's key so far has only upgraded non-cybertionions, right? Is it true that so far the key has only fixed the Autobots? So when she pulls the wires of the ship, it fixs it. Thus = Transformer rather than just equipment, right?

On the other hand, we hanet seen what it does to just Cybertronian equipment.

I notice Lugnut's 4 eyes at the sides of his head make up for his head's lack of articulation. Nice touch. The Decepticons firepower is amazing.

2 things, one i liked, one i didnt

i really liked how the decpetions really seemed likea threat. like it was constant beat the hell out of the puny autobots.

i didnt like that blitzwing had no aim. it was too much of just shoot to the right and elft conctsanly. same with lugnuts missles. it just happneed to hit eveyrplace BUT th autobots. i was hoing it would go like left, righ,t left right, and then BAM hit them swuare on, reminds me too much of the good guy never getting hit idea. lugnuts even mentioed his targetign system, you'd think the big bad decepticons could hit a target 10 feet away
