I went to Big Lots today, looking for KO G1 combiner sets. Instead, I got a KO TM2 Megatron. As you can see from the picture, I got the variant that most closely matched the original toy. Sure he has no weapons, but I can just pretend his dragon-head arm is a flamethrower. Anyone else buy any KOs recently?
EDIT: Technical difficulties + No picture-editing software + too-big picture= No picture. If I can resolve the technical difficulties and crop the picture, I'll put it up.

If you upload the pic to Photobucket there's a built-in resize and rotate feature you can use for this sort of thing.
It also generates HTML and BB code you can use to share and post your pictures all over the internets.

Earlier today I bought a red version of the Machine Wars Mirage mold at a Longs Drugs store, it came with two guns(I think the guns are different than with the original figure), I'ts a pretty fun figure and the quality seems okay. I don't have any pictures though.

I bought a cheap "20th anniversary OP" wannabe that's about the size of a Deluxe, and has to remove its arms and head in order to transform, just earlier this week.

Nah. I was sort of tempted by some Cybertron knockoffs I saw, but they were just terrible. Actually, I wonder if they weren't just blown up versions of the Legends versions, now I think about it.

Huh... so he's got Grapple/Inferno arms, RM Prime's legs, weapons, and head, and Wheeljack's faceplate.
Ah, those wacky, wacky knock-offers.

I saw the old school g1 combiners on sale at walgreens a couple weeks ago. They had:
Superion
Devestator
Bruticus
Defensor
so I picked them all up. They were 5.99 each I've heard there is a new Chinese KO of Predaking that is orange and gray... have not been able to find it in the US anywhere.

Just picked up a roughly Deluxe-sized Fortress Maximus KO... GREAT little toy, much nicer than the TF Jr. version.... flip-out hip guns, shin mortars, opening backhand panels, opening ramps, jail, calf-gun/helicopter pad, etc. Found it in HK.

I've not actually found anything new lately. Just a couple of newer series Gundam KO's at Big Lots, which I passed on. I've got most anything else you tend to find.
The Dollar Tree Prime is pretty cool, I got all 4 variations at the time. I think Classics Cliffjumper got one of the Prime guns, the rest and the axes are around somewhere. Classics Prime already has enough cool guns. When you consider they are only a buck each, it's a pretty good deal.
I need to check Walgreens, I suppose, I could use a spare KO Bruticus. These things tend to have enough brittle parts/cheapness that it's best to get two of everything.
I've found a ton of those Cybertron legends kos. In three different size ranges, no less. There's some tiny ones of Brimstone(yeah, never even got a real legends toy...), Leobreaker, and Scourge. And some larger ones of the same.
And then I found a set of bigger ones at Walmart way back, that was the one that gave legends Prime a faux trailer that turned into wings and his big rifles, pretty cool. Pretty good quality on that set. Seems like it was Evac, SS, Prime, Megs, Hotshot, and Jetfire. Those are between deluxe and basic sized.

I got these in the mail yesterday. Pretty good quality and very attactive alt modes (dino-bots) for a new mold figures. Didn`t realize they were a KO until after bidding cause I thought they were dinozone figures at first glance.

Yup, a knockoff of Mini-Con Backtrack from the Street Speed Team, in black with silver and red detailing. Instead of an eyeband, he has painted-on upside-down red triangles for eyes. He's a little larger than a Scout/Basic. One arm is a bit loose, but he holds together nice in vehicle mode. Gives me a Roger Smith (Big O) vibe; I call him "Negotiator".
Got him at Tuesday Morning.

I recently picked up "Super Powers Series" Optimus Prime from ebay for about $7. He's an interesting red-headed 7 inch tall Chinese clone of Optimus Prime - but which one?
At first glance I noticed his body seemed to be an enlarged version of Cybertron Legends Optimus Prime. Cool, I collect giant Legends figures, but there was more.
There is the big gun... Not just any knockoff gun, this seems to be taken from Leader Class Cybertron Optimus Prime. I thought this was cool, add some leader class parts to a knockoff, but then I noticed something odd about the legs...
His legs are not Cybertron toys at all, nor generic robo-legs, but they are from Robot Masters Optimus Prime!
So there you have it, three Optimi Prime in one.

I got my Chinese Knockoff Voyager Starscream. It's pretty good, but they removed a few points of articulation and the blades just pull out instead of using a cyber-key. It also is missing some of the paint applications and the cockpit window is solid instead of being transparent.

Egh, got a really bad KO yesterday. Found a BW Megatron/T-wrecks knockoff at Tuesday Morning for $5...but this guy is just ridiculous. He's colored somewhat like T-Wrecks, but a lighter orange color, and his head and chest are pure black, no paint detailing. I expected they would have nuetered his tail gears mechanism, the tongue squirter, and the launchers, but man, they did more than that. The legs are mostly ok, though they molded the heel spur as one peice with the foot. The chest is ok and pegs in fine. The head still turns fine. He comes with the weird missiles, though they just sit in holes where the launchers were gutted.
The arms though. Oh the humanity. The dino head has lost it's mouth hinge, it's all one peice. Worse, the neck is all one peice with the head. So instead of a dino head arm, he has the head just sticking straight out of the shoulder, no joints there at all. And on the other side? Well, the tail pincher peice still folds out, but that's the only joint in that arm, so you have a tail with a pincher sticking straight out the other shoulder. "Why my shoulders hurt" has nothing on this guy. Both "arms" rotate at the shoulder, but that's it, they just stick straight out at all times. Possibly the worst KO I've ever came across, and I'm counting ones that broke upon first transformation or just plainly fall apart.
They did have the regular Heinlad KO that Big Lots usually carries, looked unchanged from that version aside from coming in a different style packaging.

Brief - My latest Knockoff - He's an enlarged version of the Vector Prime Legends figure. He stands about the size of a tall scout, and I got him in a package which was clearly a knockoff of the Cybertron Deluxe toy box. My nickname for him - Vector Minor.
Colors - White, with red and black plastic. Some black, red gold and blue paint.
The disadvantages from the Voyager class figure - the wings don't fold, no sound, no missile, no sword, no Mini-Con, articulation is identical to that of the Legends Vector Prime.
Improvements over the Legends figure- They made the wings detachable and added a peg to them, and you can use them as rifles! Also, his vehicle mode actually covers his face up, unlike the Legends toy.
This figure ends up falling between the Voyager and Legends versions of the toy, but does fall much closer to the Legends.
