Airs on Cartoon Network December 26, 2007

OPTIMUS PRIME and his small crew of AUTOBOTS come into possession of the ALLSPARK, a powerful Cybertronian artifact that attracts the attention of their long-forgotten enemies the DECEPTICONS and sends them crashing to a strange and distant planet known as Earth.

Oooo, Sentinal is a butt. I'm not digging Prowl's voice, but I bet I'll get used to it. I can't wait till we get more into the stuff we haven't seen, been heavily hinted at. I wonder why Ratchet's cevron is busted, or rather stays busted.

Blitzwing is all like 'Schultz!'

I'm liking it so far.

The Decepticons are all pretty cool. Prowl's kind of eh and Sentinel's a jerk, but the rest of the Autobots are pretty good.

I love how even though Prime's a newbie, he has the typical Optimus qualities like longwinded heroic speeches.

second commercial: I got my wish! I loved the arguing. If only my mom hadn't been yaping at me, I could have heard more. Definetly have to go back over that scene later.

Ya know, I kind of actually like how the 'bots don't really have any clue how to fight together or anything. Plus I like the explanation of how they're ending up on Earth.

Great stuff so far. My only complaint is that the animation looks a bit choppy in places, like there aren't enough frames or something.

Kinda surprised me that Magnus seems to outrank Sentinel.
And was it just me, or did it seem like Magnus was channeling a bit of Robert Stack after all?

Great stuff all around. Not sure if I'll ever like Blackarachnia's voice, though. Geh.


Also: I actually like Sari so far. I was mostly just afraid she'd sound annoying, but she's kinda cute.
..and I think I love Bulkhead

I have one question for those watching so far (as I can't right now), Does Sentinal Prime sound like the Tick. I know its the same VA but does he use the voice?

Puuuurdy transformation stock. Very appropriate for the piolot.

So far, I like it, but I'm severely disappointed by the audio. The voice acting is okay for the most part, but there just isn't enough background sound, music, or anything of the sort. And the animation is a bit choppy, but not sure if thats due to its nature as a pilot, or what.

I like how she's not afraid of BB at all, it's sweet.

Prowl is a twit. His moves may look cool, but he really needs to learn about teamwork.

Starscream just shot a plane, and no one ejected from it. Starscream killed a guy. This show is awesome.

Hee hee hee. Expect BB to do something like this. This definetly makes the rest of the series seem very pomising.

This show desperately needs a soundtrack.

If there was one particularly good thing about the Unicron Trilogy shows, it's that they always had good music.

Tom Kenny is doing an awesome job at voicing Starscream's disgust with the Autobots.

I keep hearing like, things I THINK are music ques, but...they never go anywhere.

yeah that part was rather lame... but overall good movie/pilot.

Hope the rest of the series is as good.

I definitely liked how that turned out ^_^. I gasped at the end when Prime went gray. But I think it was well worked out with the key resuscitation.

That was awesome. Blitzwing has my love. Liking that we seem to have actual characters. Looking forward to more. This has massive potential. Best TF show in years, hands down.

Very good, very good indeed. My only REAL complaint though, how long does it take a train to hit the ground anyway?


All in all I really enjoyed it. Ratchet is Kup, I don't care what anyone else says, and Starscream is an absolute badass. He's also taller than Prime, which I actually prefer, it'll be interesting to see if that size difference remains a constant or not.

The writing is certainly better than any TF show in recent years, but something about Animated just lacks oomph. Most likely it's a combination of the lack of music and my own preference of anime art styles over the Teen Titans look. Still, this was pretty refreshing overall. I think it'll turn out pretty enjoyable, but Cybertron looks like it will remain my favorite series for quite a while, if we're to assume that this was a good example for the tone of the series overall.

I'm a sucker for space operas.

The first coming of a BW level TF show!! I love it !!! Megatrons and Starscream's voices were excellent, and I loved Bulkhead. The part where they ignored Sari's idea was excellent, and this show might take the place of BW, as my favorite TF show if they keep this up.

yeah, that only could've been better with a record-scratch or whiny-trumpet-fart sound effect.

Just finished. What a great episode(s)! I can honestly say that I was entertained the entire time. The humor was well-balanced with action and drama. There was just enough back story to whet the appetite without revealing all. And the ending was killer. Megatron's disconnected head all dissected and hooked up to wires a la IDW Sunstreaker...great stuff.

Human characters - great. Dr. (?) Sumdac was fantastic, especially with his now apparent guilt revealed at the very end. What a cool angle. Sari was decent and had a few great lines. I really liked her determination in resurrecting Prime, although giving her that capability kinda makes the Autobots invulnerable, doesn't it? Capt. Fanzone was fun. He clearly does not want any part of what's going on.

Transformers - good stuff. Megatron was fantastic, and I'm glad we got to see Starscream steal the show for a bit. I wonder what exactly the Allspark did to him at the end. Blackarachnia was really welcome as a cynical decepticon, I can't wait till we see more of her. I might get tired of Blitzwing quickly, but I loved his german personality. Fun stuff. Ratchet stole the show as far as Autobots were concerned. I'm totally sold on his character. A war veteran who's not enthused about reminiscing on the past - kind of an anti-Kup. I'll post more later.

Quality show! I really enjoyed it. Hope the rest of the show is as entertaining as the priemere. This show has some style. Humor, characterization, plot. Well done Cartoon Network!

Did anyone else note that the "historical" footage Prime was viewing was actually altered images from G1?

So my question is with the cartoon starting on Sat the 5th, will it be a new episode or will the next 3 weeks be "reruns" until episode 4?

All of that was straight up footage from the old show.

Wow... that was even better than I'd expected. It looks really promising thus far... granted, that's no guarantee it'll stay that way. But I really enjoyed that. It was a lot of fun, and had so much for the older fans as well as the kids. The cameo just after the 50 year jump, the spark design being straight out of Beast Wars, and probably more(someone is going to have to freeze frame the "All Spark communication" scene with Sari just to see what all it showed).

If this episode is a good hint of how Decepticons will be handled, I think they've made a great choice by having them show up less often as major threats. I don't think I've seen the 'Cons taken this seriously since the first few episodes of Cybertron/Galaxy Force. Be interested to see if they can maintain that.

The humor is surprisingly good. The "where little humans come from" and Ratchet calling the other Autobots "glitches" were good.

I really like Sari so far. She's not annoying at all, and I like the way she interacts with the Autobots.

As far as characters go, Blitzwing is my new hero. Prowl is taking a little getting used to, but even the creators acknowledge he's not supposed to be G1 Prowl. Bumblebee is a lot of fun. I like the fact we're going to get to see Optimus Prime grow into his role, the sort of thing we SHOULD have seen with Rodimus in Season Three. Ratchet is going to be a breakout character for a lot of people. Bulkhead's fun, too.

I wouldn't want to be Sumdac when a certain someone is back at 100%.

Eh, it was decent. Maybe I got my expectations too high, but I wasn't blown away. Just moderately impressed. Definitely better than A/E/C, but not quite the level of BW.

And Sari's key was used WAY too many times.

Cybertron has just been thoroughly pwned. And I LOVED that show XD It's been a while since we've had this kind of characterization in a TF toon. Prime's reaction to where kids come from was hilarious.

You know, I didn't think the young Prime thing would work so well, but lo and behold! My nephew wants some toys already.

Prowl's voice seems unfitting, but I can get used to it. Also, Starscream was a total badass. If all the cons are this threatening, then we've got a great show. I kinda liked it how he dwarfs Prime. He's so one of my favorite characters so far, along with Prime, Megatron, and Bulkhead.

Sari's also pretty cool as well. It's rare that the human characters enhance the show instead of detract from it. I have not seen this in a TF toon EVER.

All in all, this show is tight.

i missed the first few minutes.. i thought for sure i would miss it, i was pleasently surprised that it was starting just as i got home.

come on torrents.. i *need* to see that again.

He probably just means they had that fuzzy filter thrown over them.

That was pretty good. Nice sampling of characters. Not sure about the movie tie in; but we'll see.

And for chrissakes, put some pupils in ALL eyeballs. All those zombie kids creep me out.
