Earth Defense Force 2017 consumes my entire existance for being. ^_^

My gaming time has been reduced greatly as of late, due to my family taking care of grandpa in house... so at night I run upstairs and play DS Transformers or PSP. Been lucking into a ton of cheapie PSP titles as of late, so that should keep me busy for a bit. Going to try out Pacman Rally tonight (I don't have high hopes).

Eventually I'll either move an Xbox classic or Gamecube upstairs. The former is easier, but takes up a lot of space... the latter requires I find a wavebird and dig the console out of it's box (packed for the eventual move).

All of Battallion Wars in a single sitting.

Currently about 50% through Metroid Prime.
Prime 2.0
Iam still playing Gears online, and always will untill i get the Seriously achievement......or i scrape up enough money to buy the darkness.
Besides that ive been on a previous generation kick, RE4 and MGS3 on PS2. MGS2, Time splitters 3, and The Punisher on Xbox. Ive also been playing MVC2 on the dreamcast, Killer Instincts and Spawn on the SNES, MK 2 & 3 on the Genesis, and when i feel like almost passing out blowing dust i throw something in the NES.

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition

Currently playing Resident Evil 4 for the 16th time...still not bored of it.

I have owned the game for about 2 years now and I have never finished it. I play for a couple of hours from time to time and I have managed to get as far as the Water Prison World.

Gah, dont remind me about the prison world, it took me forever to get out of that blasted place. No matter how many times i lined up those stupid rooms to get the electricity going it never worked.

I just got Transformers for the Wii, so I'm playing that mostly. Before that, it was many hours in Pokemon Battle Revolution.

I still have Pokemon Pearl in my DS, but I haven't been playing that much since I got PBR.

I downloaded Paper Mario for Virtual Console today, and logged a small amount of time in it.

Wait, do you mean just starting a new file, or do you mean you're not buying any upgrades?

Really, it's a matter of memorization... 'Stepping here will trigger X creatures of type B, killing them will trigger Y creatures of type R'.

Then it's all choke points and prioritization. Find a room with a single door or a cave with a single entrance, it'll funnel the targets together for grenades and shotgun fun. Never fight out in the open. Save a flash grenade in case they manage to get a flood through the door, then either blast the doorway clear and make your exit, else clean up the ones that got in before resuming the funnel-and-kill process. If Ashley's with you, don't make a run, but do ANYTHING to clear out that room. (Unless she's armoured. Then you use her as a lure.)

Take out any crossbow guys first, chainsaw bandits and the crazy dogs, JJ and hammer guys, or any other heavy hitters second, leave the grunts for later unless they've got Plaga heads in play. Especially headbiters or spiders, who also have the single-hit headbite. Oddly, Garradors break all the rules; Avoid them, clear out all the grunts, then go into a nice, big, open place to play Tag in.

Of course, Mercenaries throws this all out the window. I've yet to figure that one out, since you just can't get the heavies culled out of the pack before another flood of grunts show up. I can't WAIT for a cheater for the Wii to get that handcannon unlocked.

It's the Japanese version of Elite Beat Agents.

From what I understand, besides a different song list, it's also got different gameplay mechanics.

I am starting a new file without having all the stuff from my last game. I am not getting anything like the Typewriter or Infinite Launcher just using the normal weapons.

God I hate Garradors. The only place I remember running into them with monks around where you had to kill them it was easy to do as long as you used the rocket launcher. There are to of the blasted things at the back of the room on either side of the door. I just shot the launcher at the door and it normally kills both Garradors then you just gotta mop up the monks. Then I just have to make sure I have enough money saved to buy another launcher before going up against Salazar.

When I get a large group I find it helpful to kneecap some of the ones in front. It tends to slow down the advance.

Is there a cheat on the Gamecube to get the Handcannon?? I can't seem to score high enough on the Mercenaries levels to even hope to get it.
