Though I do have a question how exactly does one get wings? Flying I think is level based... I'm so clueless heheh though it is rather fun.

Wings are a 15-month veteran reward.

The 15 month vet reward gives you angel and demon wings. When issue 9 hits, you'll be able to craft additional wing types (bat, cherub, burned, skeletal, dragon, tech, insect, and fairy wings) if you can find the recipes (they're a bit rare) and the salvage needed to make them (probably not as rare). You won't need the 15 month vet reward to craft the other wing types.

Well poop. Aw well... I'm pretty happy with my wingless villan. For now.

Of course I kinda cheated... That mission was in my tray for 2 levels. Since Tyrant was 50 I stood no chance as a mere 46. I decided to try again as a 48. Sure, everyone else was green and blue, but Tyrant was ***very*** purple.

Since my connection is horrible tonight, I decided instead of continuing to focus on Free-Fall to begin a quick project of mine.

Marvel has the 616 Universe and the Ultimate Universe. Why not have an "Ultimate" Zootyverse?

Well I selected 12 characters from my primary account and secondary, logged on Freedom and re-created them there, with differences (Sometimes subtle, sometimes not so subtle).

One thing funny though is that when you have the shoulder mantle veteran reward, you can use it on a 1st level character. Yes, level 1 characters ***can*** have capes!!!

Here's an example: Ultimate Free-Fall (Named "Sheelieen" in the Ultimate Zootyverse, and a mind/kinetics instead of a grav/empath) with her cape, her blackwand in Outbreak!!!

I don't know. I know that the instant I logged on with Sheelieen he sent me an invite for Isolator (unsoliscited). My hatred of blind invites made me click "no" the instant that window popped up. I then used the /afk command to make appear over my head "Keymapping... leave me the hell alone" and no one dared talked to me again

When the servers come back up (hopefully before I have to go to work) I'll try to catch a demo file for each of the Zootyverse 2.0 characters to make a custom demo of the 12 characters alongside their Pinnacle Zootyverse counterparts

I'll have to log in with Lunatricity (my very first CoH character still at level 14, with both anniversary badges!) and check out your characters on Freedom.

Speaking of demofiles, anyone found a map with a good uniform background? Specifically, I want to make a demoedit with "greenscreen" capability. If the background is just one uniform color, I can easily cut 'n paste.

So far, I've tried sewers, DA (too foggy!), way up in the sky, and even no map, but everytime I get a background with the sky or other textures.

It's a work in progress, but I got to go to work in a few so I got to stop now.

Still, half the characters are up there (the letters "ult" are added in parentheses in the cases in which the names are identical)

I had to redo Pinstripes though - I didn't realize I made him so SHORT the 1st time around (his head only reached Pinstripe's shoulders!)

Depending on fast you level, maybe we can team up sometime. My lowest on Freedom are Epsilon Seeker and Bionic Trooper at level 15, with DarkProwler (as opposed to Dark.Prowler on Pinnacle) is about to hit 20. Villain-side, DP's brother Nemesis Scourge is sitting at 12, with Gamma Seeker at 16 or so.

I really need to do a new group shot like that sometime...

Keep in mind that's a *side* project. I'm still focussing on my Pinnacle crew.

Here's a question. Since I can't seem to find the answer. Were I to get CoH (currently have CoV) is it used as a "upgrade" or would I need to buy another "Hero" account?

To break that down for (my own) clarity. If I had Hero's and Villan's could I just use my normal 14$ something a month account. And Play a Hero/Villan. Or would I need another account for heros and thus pay 28$ some odd per month for both?

One subscription covers both games.

Can you control those like your other pets? Make them do emotes?

AFAIK, all they do is follow you around. They don't really do anything.

Hm... was hoping you could feed it /say and /em commands, so when I get one, I'll have the little robot following Delta Seeker around saying "I want to be like you when I grow up!"

No commands whatsoever, just follows you around.

I was hoping for someting more sinister: as MMs you can send your pets somehere, right? I wanted them to draw aggro so I could send them on ahead as diversions, die immediately in the initial attack then send in the rest of the robots

Still, they look cool. I always summon him along with the rest of the robots, heh heh

And thus, Masterminds are even more despised by low-end system users.

But still not as despised as Stalkers in general.

Or as much as anyone with fire rain is by Dominators.

Hint: powers with multiple hold/immobs. Free-Fall and Mackenna (the founder of Free-Fall's 1st SG back in the day) had a fearsome Gravity Distortion Field/Rain of Fire combo when working together.

What's funny is that that's one of the new emotes in I9.

Heh, true! I'm also stoked that they added the fly poses that were removed from I8 as in-flight emotes. That was the BEST possible solution, since so many people were clamoing for them to be selectable.
