John Barber prose story

Oh, there is a prose story in IDW Transformers Dark of the Moon movie adaptation comics written by John Barber which fills in a lot of details about what Soundwave gets up to... I regret getting the graphic novel now as I was not aware there was anything extra in the individual issues... It's a story which is gonna be split over the 4 issues.

Safely remove permanent marker

A sharpie was used to draw in extra details but i'd rather have the figure the way nature intended.

Any hints or tips how I can remove black permanent marker from a figure?
would this cause any problems or would it be safer to just leave the black lines as they are?
any help would be much appreciated.

They really should make a range of 'bombs' for Cybertron Soundwave and Universe Blaster. I am kinda surprised they haven't already cause the figures are just crying out for all the rest of the cassettes to be remade as bombs. I know i would buy a set of them!
