Rewind

Thoughts on Beast Hunters / Go! Optimus & Shockwave

Opened Go! Optimus and Shockwave last night.

I don't know if it's just me, but Optimus really seems pretty terrible. Questionable sculpting, off-mode details (I guess they probably can't be faulted for that), very empty feeling, loose, and generally cheap and flimsy (especially in robot mode). Truck mode looks terrible too.

Shockwave's robot mode is okay (love the gimmick) but the vehicle mode is among the worst I've ever seen for a Transformer.

Are these figures really this terrible or is it just me?
