Why so blue, Hasbro?

This randomly came to mind last night. It seems like there's an awful lot of blue on the shelves. Potentially (though I realize it's not realistic), one could walk into a store very soon and see the following figures on the shelves, at the same time:

Override (Legends)
Brimstone
Breacher
Electrostatic Jolt
Darkmount
Dirge
Blurr
Soundwave
Tracks
Mindset
Fallen (repaint)

Scourge (kind of, blue is not the dominant color)
Sea Spray (ditto)

And that's just off the top of my head. Isn't this a bit unusual? Haven't some color decisions been made in the past for some figures where the deco was altered because Hasbro did not want one color to be too prevalent on the shelves? (No source for that, and my memory could be faulty)

Have there been other examples in recent memory where one color dominated the shelves?
