Help regarding the Ipod G1 Optimus Prime release

Was just wondering if anyone knows a good place to get the Ipod G1 Optimus Prime release?

I really only want the cab with the new head mold but I'm reluctant to spend Ebay prices on it. I always liked the mold apart from the original head with those creepy yellow eyes. I like this new mold as it seems closer to the cartoon, to me at least.

Any help would be appreciated.

G1 Characters that could have been Beast Wars TF's

Was just reading a mosaic featuring Bombshell and a poster said he could imaging Bombshell with Tarantulus' evil laugh. Not the first time I've seen a comparison between the two.

So I was wondering are there any other seeming unrelated characters that could possibly be the same character?

Personally, I've long believed it wouldn't take much imagination to link Robotmasters Wingstun and BW Waspinator. Both have shared a mold. Both have similar colour schemes. Both have served under BW Megatron. Wingstun has little if any fiction or characteriastion so he's pretty much a blank state. I can almost hear him say, "Why Universe hate Wingstun?"

Terrorsaur and G1 Thrust are another pairing. Both are cowardly braggards with similar color schemes. In fact, Titanium WW Thrust really strikes me as making a nice pre-Beast toy for Terrorsaur.

So what do you guys think?

G1 characters that survived in the Beast era?

Just thought it would be cool to compile a list of G1 and neo-G1 bots who survived in2 the Beast era. I'll start.

Then there's the ones who I'm uncertain about:

Cyclonus. We see him as a Vehicon but was he a Predacon or Decepticon prior to this.
Skywarp. See Cyclonus.
Quake. See Cyclonus.
Tigatron. Does the Device Label incarnation mean he was around in G1?
Cheetus/Cheetor. See Tigatron.
Rattrap. Auto Assembly had a Spotlight for Rattrap set in the G1 era. Interestingly it also featured Cybertron Ransack.
Iguanus. Was reading Iguanus' MTMTE profile 2day and the last part got me thinking. In fact it's what prompted this topic. It says if he could become closer to being an actual reptile, he would. Do the BW characters incorporate animal DNA into themselves? I'm a little unclear.

Who I'd like to see retrofitted:

Tigatron. I love the idea that he was a bodyguard to the Primes. Since like Nightstalker, he shares a mold with Ravage. I'd be happy if they made him and Nightstalker the same person, except Nightstalker survives. It could make for a nice rivalry with Ravage.

Thrust. Everytime I look at Titanium WW Thrust, I see pre Beast Terrorsaur.

Robotmasters Wingstun. I just see him as G1 Waspinator. They share a mold, have a similar colour scheme and have both served BW Megatron.

So what do you guys think?

Transformers whose toys look better than the animation model

A lot of fans seem to prefer the animation models of certain G1 charcters to their toys. The main examples being Ironhide, Ratchet, Swindle, Galvatron, Reflector and the Seekers.

To this end, most of us clamour for the likes of the Classics Seekers and Jetfire to mention a few. Trust me, I love my Encore Ironhide and Ratchet since I got the custom clip on heads and the reissue Anime Bumblebee from a few years back.

However, to me some Transformers actually look better in toy form. My examples are as follows:

Menasor

Motormaster (I hate his bland, boring animation model's head)

Dead End

Dragstrip (I'm actually 50/0 on this one)

Ultra Magnus

Hot Spot

High Brow

So what do you guys think?

For a while now, I've been considering getting the Headmaster Junior 3-pack with Chromedome, Fortress Maximus and Optimus Prime. I was wondering if anyone had it would they mind posting a few pics of Chronedome alongside G1 Jazz or Prowl. I just want to see how he compares sizewise to one of the Diaclone cars.
