She's either ordering two hot dogs at the stadium, or throwing the V-sign and saying something you can't hear.
(In fact, you can't hear what she's saying, because the original version of this had word balloons. I drew it as a birthday present for someone at TFW.) Inspired by various con-related discussions.
Draw GoBots, Convertors, other offbrand stuff that we don't see done very often, post it here. (IMG:http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b191/autobus_prime/xtra/run_ranger_run.jpg) Road Ranger's probably running away from Zod or Ted Turner or something, or else he just saw a mirror. I drew him because he was literally the GoBot on top of the pile, when I took out the Sterilite tub. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

However, what does not make sense is being upset about Asian exclusives. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif) I'm going to concentrate on China, because it's a big place where DOTM made 20% of its worldwide take, in fact, it grossed almost 40% there of what it did in the US, if my box office mojo isn't failing me. That's pretty significant, and Hasbro is quite right to pay attention. It's not a case of shifting attention away from the western markets to Asia, but of providing better service to an underserved market. Listen to me jiving marketspeak, I can feel its evil infecting my DNA... I suspect the flood of Chinese KOs may have as much to do with an underserved market as anything. No doubt many are sold locally for every one that gets exported to the rather small base of hardc0re collectors. People were puzzled here and at TFW by the G1tastic nature of the exclusives. Here's a good read. Transformers in China: A 20-year Retrospective -- Beijing Review Edit: Gee, URL. I wonder if they get a lot of traffic on what is properly (and primly) Pi Day? Transformers were big in China in the 1980s, and the toys were desirable but hard to get. Parents often buy toys for their kids that they wanted when growing up, but couldn't have. The same goes for adult collectors, buying toys for themselves. Don't we all know it? And since it's Workerist Wednesday, well, why shouldn't Asia get exclusives? China makes the toys, after all; they should have some cool stuff available locally. It's only jet fair. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-nightbird.gif) (I feel the same, conversely, about making stuff over here, but that's more related to a slow, slow side project that you'll either never hear about, or you won't be able to get away from in The Future , though the chance of the second is rather slender...) Anyway, (IMG:http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b191/autobus_prime/xtra/go_greyhound.gif)

I bought Encore Ratchet aka the Cybertron Party Bus at BBTS. Delighted with Ratchet, despite the mold wear, and much prefer it to the Universe one (which I Ebayed a while back). So I decided to add a head. Yeah, I know, like everyone, but I wanted to keep the windshield-mask, which I like, and have a more normal head behind it, like we saw a time or two in Marvel G1.
I made a head out of a cheapo oversized-minicon-KO Sparkplug, which oddly had Bluestreak's head. It was easy to carve off the mohawkiness, leaving Ratchet nice and cresty. The head is screwed to a plate that sits in the seat, and can be removed when I want to experience the full stickerface effect. I like the head pretty well; the shoulders are a bit low, but not too bad. I also added 3mm rails masquerading as cab steps, a 3mm clip to his cannon (Lego rod, KO Lego hand), and some graphics, including a little handpainted something for Andrusi.
