iPad questions for digital artists

I just got a new iPad mini and I'm starting to play around with various art programs I'm finding. So far I've downloaded Sketchbook Express, Paper, Bamboo Paper, Pen & Ink, and Graphite Lite. I plan on picking up the full versions of Sketchbook, but what other art apps would you recommend? Also, what kind of stylus should I look into for this thing? I have a basic stylus from Griffin that is barely getting the job done. It's more precise than my fingers, but the screen doesn't recognize it's input unless I press hard and I can't hold it like a normal pen or pencil.

DVD copying/ripping software

I need some help from my fellow Allspark members. I want to transfer some of my DVDs onto my computer so that I can put some videos on my Nook Tablet. I've checked the goggles and am not sure what software I should go with. Handbrake seems to be the most popular, so I downloaded it, but I'm getting less than desirable results. I've tried copying an episode of MLP: FiM from a disc that came with Twilight Sparkle. The video comes out pixilated and skips quite a bit.

Is there something I need to do with the settings, or maybe a different program I should use? I would prefer a free program since my money is limited.

Robot Name Generator

This is cool. Type in your name and the generator creates a robot based on it. My last name creates a robot that looks like Cyclonus. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon-hotrod.gif)

DCUO thread locked in Insert Coin

I was just curious as to why the DCUO thread in Insert Coin was closed. We were behaving ourselves and the thread wasn't out of control.

Hasbro sale on DOTM Deluxes

Heads up everyone. While at Walmart tonight shopping, I found coupons from Hasbro on the pegs along with the deluxe DOTM toys. It's for $3 off and not Walmart specific. It let me pick up Topspin for $6.88. If you have holes in your DOTM collection this would be a real good way to fill them!
